She's going to make an excellent Princess of Wales. How hard can that job be, anyway?

Mr. & Mrs. Dowdy -- a perfect couple.
Theirs is more of a fairy tale come true. They are so happy. Diana and Dodi were more of a fairy tale come true. THEY seemed so happy together. The Diana-Charles marriage was a fairy tale.
Mom should have let Charles marry Camilla 25 years ago, when he wanted to. Daina's parents, family and friends shouldn't have let her marry Charles. It seemed that everyone in the kingdom knew Charles loved Camilla except Diana.
Now it's Mr. & Mrs. Dowdy -- a perfect middle-aged couple.

Some how I can't imagine Charles as king or Camilla as queen. In fact I can't image the British monarchy lasting past its current queen. And just as well I think. The Brits should have rid themselves of that expensive dinosaur after WWII.

Ppuullleeezzee! Get Real! Charles and Diana were never suited for each other and the age difference was too great. And from what I've read of her, she was a spoiled, nasty tempered brat. The marriage would have failed regardless of who was diddling whom. It is done and over and all this clinging to the past is revolting.

Agreed - the heads should be reversed: all her 'power' derives from his.

No one is irreplaceable. The Queen dies, there is a new Queen. The Pope dies, there will be a new Pope. The princess of Wales dies, there will be a new one.

I actually feel sorry for Camilla: to saddle the poor woman with this title imposes a burden on her she has not asked for and should not have to bear. It is not fair on her. Oh poor little Camilla. If she did not want this, she could have kept the previous title - Royal Tramp.

Is any one really suprised by this one??? More needless double talk, more modifications put out as "bait" deemed that the wedding opponents would more easily swallow and switch when the time is deemed "right". What is happening here: Clarence House Ditziness or arrogant rule Breaking or calculated campaign--with the government as the witting or unwitting backers?
