These two women show the sorrow we feel as humans at our loss and the joy and peace our loved one feels at his homecoming...

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God - Pray for us sinners
Now, and at the hour of our death, Amen.

It was no coincidence that a few years after these incredible people rose to power, communism was dead.

Beautiful. And I can picture Terri along the sidelines, waving to him saying "Thanks for standing by me."Your image brought tears to my eyes. Very powerful.

"Baby Pope".... I love that... :)

I agree (I'm Southern Baptist).
I like what D.L. Moody said, "Soon you will read in the newspaper that I am dead. Don't believe it for a moment. I will be more alive than ever before."
Though we mourn the earthly death of this dear servant of God, we celibrate that he is receving the joyous goal of his faithseeing the Lord Jesus face to face. He is more alive now than ever, and walking with the Great Love of his soulhis Savior, Counselor, King, Physician, Redeemer, Lord, and Best Friend.

I heard something about the sun setting in Rome being the beginning of Divine Mercy Sunday
To: CitizenM
Almighty God,
we remember before you today your faithful servant John Paul II, Bishop of Rome;
and we pray that,
having opened to him the gates of larger life,
you will receive him more and more into your faithful service,
that, with all who have faithfully served you in the past,
he may share in the eternal victory of Jesus Christ our Lord,
AMEN.

Been away from the thread for a few minutes. I sent an email to all my family (parents, brothers and sister) and friends letting them know I am thinking of them all.
I feel a bit better inside now.
