The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Agreed. As a Protestant, I still mourn with everyone today, regardless of religious leanings.
Heavenly Father, I pray that you welcome Pope John Paul II with open and loving arms. He will be greatly missed here on earth. Give us all comfort as we mourn his passing to your heavenly kingdom. Amen.

Good bye and a God Bless, to a fine man. If you have any idea of his life you will know of his passion for his Church. This man gave till there was nothing left to give. He was the man of the PEOPLE. His hands were blessed, his heart was blessed, and his soul is blessed. He made a difference in this world, he held the line on the socialism, and communism. He stood for freedom and righteousness. He stood for the right thing to do. God Bless His Soul in Heaven. He was a fine man, and a fellow patriot of this thing we call..."freedom".

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green [1] pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest [2] my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Through tears, I type this but I just sat with my two boys (7 and 4 1/2) and said both of these prayers before seeing your post...
To: CitizenM
Thank you for a beautiful and fitting post, CitizenM. He was a great man, who will be sorely missed in our world, even as Heaven welcomes him home.
