As I've said many times, we need someone in '08 that's far more conservative than Reagan. Fat chance, though.
Today's Republican party looks like a bunch of socialist-lites compared to our founding fathers. We need to return to our roots.....or we're in big trouble.
I think we can get there in the long term by encouraging the collapse of the Democrat party, allowing the GOP to continue its drift leftwards, and generating a new umbrella party on the right.
