Granted, the thread in question at DUmmieland doesn't specifically state it's a "form letter", but does our beloved Granny or anyone else really believe the petition wouldn't/couldn't be used as a basis FOR a letter to the editor?
The point is Granny, and all you other DUmb@$$es lurking, reading this thread, that clearly there was an organized effort (which failed of course, and what effort on DU DOESN'T fail *snicker*) on DU to get Rush off the AFR.
Also of humorous note, on the very thread lambasting you, txradioguy, one DUmmie actually provided a link to that petition, when asked for the "form letter" by another DUmmie. Well, maybe all DUmmies aren't dishonest.
Sure are stupid though.
Yeah and it's funny that a woman who sys she's originally frm Texas who's in Germany who claims to me that DU is not involved in this suddenly has a bunch of DUmmie buddies sending me hatemail.
I posted a thread a few weeks back about the DUmmies petitioning the city of Dallas (I think) to require the new AM station going in there to carry SCARE America.
Something tells me this letter writing to Stars & Stripes is part of that same campaign.
I saw that myself. The vitriol and hatred spewing forth over there is unreal. Some thanks given to our protectors and defenders, eh? Maybe when they grow up we can have a conversation with them that they will understand: they can sit on the sofas in the basement of their mama's house drawing unemployment and smoking weed because heroes like TX went to war and fought and bled and died to give them their rights.
