If he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
"They say" that people who do this have other grievances than the actual weight. The "weight" just triggers the outbursts.
A lot of 'for's in that post. Sorry about that. (I'm a really lame typist.)
Jeb is probably a little scared in that he trusted Crist. Now he doesn't know who to believe.
Someone on Fox mentioned that Fat Teddy had finally come out and made a statement about Terri today, but I don't know what it was. Probably the party line. I have no faith in that man to ever do or say the right thing.
I know exactly what that kind of fear is like. I have disabled children as well.
There doesn't have to be any money involved.
They win, their cause is moved forward, and they're rid of Terri. If Schiavo is Catholic, which I assume he is despite behavior to the contrary, he can marry the common-law wife without an annulment, and he's probably entitled to everything that was Terri's since he didn't divorce her. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a book down the road, or a TV movie. Of course the Schindler's may do the same (book/movie). I have no doubt the Felos scumbag will capitalize on this "success" in every way he can.
Good to know, my FRiend...check in now and again over on Black...we promise not to monopolize all yer time.
FReegards...MUD
I'm afraid you are correct. But, the thing that struck me as medieval is the indifference to the suffering.
God help us all.
Was Catherine Crier DISGUSTING or WHAT??? Her face was contorted, she wouldn't shut up long enough to let anyone talk. I finally muted the TV. I couldn't stand her.
Sorry Canadian, but I think that's simply preposterous...MUD
I will not even pretend to know all of the facts of this case, so I will never say I KNOW anything for sure, But, I did hear that it supposedly was bulimia that caused her to have an electrolyte imbalance that supposedly resulted in a heart attack or cardiac arrest---NOW, I don't know, but hopefully the autopsy will tell whether there ever was a heart problem---
BTW, I was watching Hardball tonight, and the last 10 minutes they showed part of the Memorial service for Terri--first of all no matter what anybody thinks of Randall Terry personally, he sang a beautiful song and sung it well, I thought---then a few minutes later Terri's father got up to speak and could only say a few words before he choked up so bad he couldn't speak---
I gotta tell you, the tears were just flowing down my face, like a dam broke---the poor man just looked so lost, and defeated....
You're so sweet. You always have a kind word. It makes me feel better about things when I'm on a thread that you are on. God bless you and keep you.
I saw a clip of Jeb a while earlier, and he looked and sounded very upset. Maybe the 'easy' thing for him to do would have been to storm in and remove Terri from that hospice or order the reinsertion of the feeding tube. There would have been a hugh hullaballou, but even if he'd failed, he would have come across as a hero. He made a harder choice and now has to live with the consequences, of which there will be many.
I want the ones who defended Terri's murder, as "letting her go" or other nonsense, to tell me, what mental institutions do we start with first?.....
what nursing homes?..
but, I am tired of fighting....
Lord, send us the grace we need to accept this terrible fate....
prayers to Terri's family.....
God help us all, indeed.
Wasn't there supposedly one woman who changed her mind...too late? Jack told her to shut up and turned on the drips.
It will be difficult to believe the results of an autopsy that ms approves...
