My ONLY reason for posting that link was so others could see the pic of Terri.
I would have saved my child or died trying. No middle ground on this one. Her poor parents.
And the lawyer said " Oh, she is so comfortable so loved, so cared for, so blah blah so serene"...............................................
NOW WE SEE THE TRUTH
SHE WAS BEING TORTURED
Good catch, Meek.
Bullying evil must be smacked in the face by righteous good.
Who is J.D. Alexander? Is he some kind of FL version of Chris Shays?
Notre Dame is not a Catholic institution.
I have been hearing from my grandparents friends in Florida for YEARS about what an abomination the New Age, Peace & Justice fraud Lynch is.
He -- like many self-styled Catholics -- reserves his righteous anger and immediate actions of censure and silencing for traditional Catholics only.
Well....
I liked what you said. At some point, each of us is or will be Terri or Terri's parent to some degree.
Dan, you did know that essentially the modern Republican party of FL was born in Pinellas Co. in the early 1950s?
I wonder how he got the pic? I've never heard of him before.
Better make that Felos-the-lier because a lier he is.
He's a shame and a disgusting indecency to society and his fellow lawyers. May this slimeball of a lier, this crackpot forever burn in the eternal fires of hell for the rest of his perverted life.
I just ran an errand and of the 6 flags out in my neighborhood, three were at half staff! One at a service station, one at a bank, and one at a fast food restaurant (Sonic). The post office, a different bank, and a housing development had theirs at full staff. Wow. Amazing.
Are there any in your neighborhoods?
Rest in peace, Terri.
The message of righteous anger is that if it is left bottled up forever it may go nowhere on the ocean of life.
Hm, I think I've come across these types in the Protestant community as well. "Self-styled" is a good word for it.
I hear this was the case.
Sad indeed.
The media also noted that Michael had been living in the hospice since March 18th, the day the feeding tube was removed.
This was inserted apparently to show he cared:
I'm at work now and I'm deep shaken and sad however I think it must be asked if there was profound emotion and loss - why didn't he realize her parents emotions and have a change of heart in allowing them to be with her as she died? Could that not have been worked out?
It's somewhat hard to believe that he suffered a terrible loss.
Michael Schiavo has gained the status of, say, OJ Simpson. With that said I hope the media follows this guy, as the vultures they are, for months to observe whether or not this was a great loss for him. Outward signs and behavior can be very telling.
She is resting in peace.
Take care all.
Please feel free to hotlink this image:
I heard a statement that was read by one of the cable news hosts where the webmaster of that site was quoted as saying the Schindlers knew nothing about those details of the hosting agreement .. sad, but it seems believable to me in their grief and the frenzy of all they've been doing to save Terri in these last years. I swear, but for the Grace of God, I don't know how they've survived this torment and the years of hope and despair.
But he wouldn't allow a washcloth in her hand to ease the contractures.
Your comments don't even begin to tell the story of Michael and Terri Schiavo's marriage, her illness/condition/or whatever led to her tragic end. Beautiful sentiments, but there is so much more here, not just about Terri and her family, but what this means for the entire country and millions of handicapped and sick people who aren't 'productive' anymore, whose 'quality of life' is less than yours or mine, those who can't speak for themselves. With dwindling health dollars and resources, you'd better believe the Grim Reaper will be coming to many more people with the 'blessings' of the state. What happened was very, very scary. (And the truth is, if God had wanted to take Terri fifteen years ago, nothing on earth would have stopped Him.)
