I love her for her example of sweetness and goodness. She was as perfect as a human being can be. Perfect. Her family is a great example of God's pure love, unconditional love. All those who participated in this atrocity will pay a heavy price - if not in the here and now, in the here-after . . . and you can take that to the bank, Michael Schiavo, George Felos and George Greer. And Jeb Bush.
I agree completely. What I was referring to was peace among us who value life and uphold American principles.
We have an enemy. That enemy is well defined. No peace to that enemy. None at all.
I was hoping the Vatican would annull the marriage and release the HINO of legal next of kin guardianship.
You certainly did as much as you could possibly do, at least onthis site, to prevent this "murder."
I, like you, am terribly saddened by this news, not only for Terri, her family, and friends, but for America. This is a major blot to the morality of our country, and, I'm afraid I can never regard our country the same way I always have.
There is plenty of blame to go around: the bias of the media in prejudicing the nation against the holy sanctity of innocent life, judges with a perverted sense of "justice", the Schindler family not being well served by their legal representatives, and the culture of death gradually seeping across the country at the hands of the "elite intellectuals."
May G-d bless Terri Schiavo and her grieving family, and may G-d forgive the United states of America for this horribly barbaric act.
May Michael Schiavo, if he did not act in Terri's interests, be condemned to pay for his evil acts.
The heinous murder of Terri Schiavo is symbolic of what weve become, an inherently corrupt nation ruled by judicial anarchists, executive tyrants and legislative nihilists and we are all to blame. BETTER WAKE UP SHEEPLE, YOUR REPUBLIC IS DYING........
Judge may as well had his hands around her throat...accomplished the same result.
"[Terri] is sucking up resources that could be used on others who have hope of contributing to society."
Overheard in the smoky backroom.
I'd say that sums it up pretty well.
I will have to check for you. I had it written down, but lost it when I uploaded the image to my photobucket.
That's right. Don't forget.
Gee thanks for the great title. I guess its better to just keep the facts contradictory to your feelings to ourselves and let you remain in your shell. By the way... before all this you do realize that Terri's parents used to visit maybe... MAYBE once a week. I know Terri's parents said they would care for her forever, but the FACT is for the past 10 years the HOSPICE has been caring for Terri, not her parents. I am not trying to start any arguements, I spent a day going back and forth on this topic and do not wish to continue jousting back and forth. I hope Terri rests peacefully and I pray for her and her family.
Those are three Democratic congressman-who aren't members of the CBC, and who hail from my state-that voted in favor of that bill.
Sen. Tom Harkin and Sen. Bill Nelson are two other prominent Democrats that I can think of at the moment.
I was only trying to convey the point that this was a decisive, overwhelming, bipartisan majority-in spite of the absences of some of the more timorous Dem. incumbents-that consciously defied by a state judge.
I repeat. Regardless of your circumstances, by affixing blame on him, you divert the real blame from where it lies.
Are we not all to blame in some way for allowing this country to fall so far from one that honors life, through lack of prayer, and lack of activism?
We need to channel our anger and grief into turning America around, and blaming the wrong people will NOT help.
I agree!
Jeb's only fault in this was trusting that the judge Greer respected him and gave him the opportunity to do the right thing. But when he made his intentions known prior to going in for Terri, the judge slapped the restraining order on him (dcf) and his hand were tied.
I have prayed on the prayer threads and I have wept with all there, but we can't place blame on Jeb or W. It is the out of control judiciary,as Mark Levin said so eloquently the other night.
They were the only hope for us and they let us down. it's obvious that the GOP is all about money business and showboating. Even the law congress passed on Sunday had no teeth. they only did it to SHUT US UP!
The GOP have sat on thier big fat lazy asses and did nothing of substance.
Sickening. Not surprising, though. That's the same thought process that was be seen in the Weimar Republic.
They lacked the courage of their convictions - so they could not let their support see the light of day. Cowardice under fire.
I never do.
YES
damn 11th circut court, who are they anyway? Who appointed them?
"Never forget those Republicans who refused to support life - what are they? Worthy of reelection because they are Republicans?"
Of course not. RINOs are not Republicans.
But most Republicans are not RINOS. And attacking Jeb --- a committed Christian --- for making a tough judgment call to fight the battle for as-yet-unknown-Terri's is cutting off our nose to spite our face.
