It's sad, because I had a lot of confidence that Jeb would act.

I can't hold him responsible, as it's not for me to say that he should have acted in a particular way, especially if he thought he could not do so legally.

But he should never have announced he had the authority, and then failed to immediately use it.

If he would now do as you say, and remove some judges, and reform the laws, he would regain some moral authority in my eyes.

I mentioned on another forum that I am a very rare pro-life agnostic. Terri Schiavo has showed us all the best qualities of being human. Thank you, Terri, I shall never forget your example.

I hope that, if their is a God, he will bring retribution onto Michael Schiavo, his attorney, and Judge Greer.

This is truly a dark day in the history of the country that gave the world the idea that "LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is a natural right for all of humanity. I honestly am ashamed of my country today. The state-sponsored murder by starvation of Terri Schiavo did not happen in my name.

There was a bipartisan consensus in favor of saving Terri Schiavo. Unfortunately, the wishes of the legislative majority were overridden by a tyrannical state jurist.

Bull. You had three senators voting in the Senate. Most of them were willing to go along because they wanted to stay on their vacations and they didnt know which way it would cut so they didnt want to go on record. Just over half of the House voted and about 2/3 of them voted for it. So you are talking about a minority who cared enough to come back from their vacation and vote. And for most part only Dem votes were from the black caucus.
