Thought the UK does have their own population of left wing loonies (just as we do), their government has been a steadfast ally to America. It is discouraging to read the stories in the Globe and the Mirror denouncing US policy, but I believe for the most part, they are still behind us. Looks like the EU pretty much treats them the same as they do us.
