OMG--I thought it was just me. I saw that horrid Catherine Crier on FNC and had the EXACT same reaction: I watched an attractive woman turn into a hateful, vicious little tyrant. Her screeching contempt of Jay Sekulow was sickening. Mel Gibson rocks, no doubt about it. He could lead the charge against this euthanasia outrage like a William Wallace.
Yes, as I said, an otherwise attractive woman given over to demons. I wonder whether being able to see it is perhaps an unconscious "gift of discernment" not available to everyone.
Ah, Mel Gibson, what else can be said? When it comes to actors who are real men (or as real as it gets in the movies), Republicans got stuck with Schwarzenegger who, if the constitution allowed him to go much further in the realm of politics, would no doubt live up to his "Terminator" character. Mel, on the other hand, had no stretch to make playing the role of the devout Catholic Hal Moore, leading and caring for his men in battle all the while with a love that can only come from God Himself. He is, I believe, constitutionally eligible for the Presidency, but I would be very surprised if he'd ever go for it.
But, I do think he'll continue to use his position for good.
