The head of Hospice in Florida (or Miami) was on something last night; he said that there are about 900,000 people in hospices

This is significant; what's happening to Terri could be happening to hundreds of patients a day, and the courts know this and reel from the thought that these rise up to clog the courts and inflame the sensibilities of those of us who are pro-life. Therefore, mum's the word and all the hand-washing being done by the courts makes sense. Greer just happens to the lightning rod and designated tube puller for this go-round.

Terri is one of a few that became a high-profile case, which is a battle between those that made her a poster girl for "The Right to Die" movement and those who would rather err on the side of life.

The courts don't know about these people. Decisions are made by families, and physicians.

If families deciding to pull feeding tubes angers you, you better gear up.

There are also numerous questions to be answered in this case that the average right to die case does not have.

I am glad I am on the side with Bork, Santorum , Frist (and others). There are many questions which need to be addressed about Terri's condition, her medical past care and how she got into this mess in the first place.

Try to get a grip; Hospice is not a killing machine.
