It's not too late actually.
Sadly, this seems to be the case. Why doesn't Jeb Bush stand up to this moron? And this
You can't grow peanuts on your own land or install a toilet capable of disposing two tissues in one flush because of federal government intervention. But Congress demands a review of the process that goes into a governmental determination to kill an innocent American woman and that goes too far!
Where the heck are we going?
Dig the crawl under AC on the pic from Fox. LOL
Humblegunner ping!
disregard - the prior version omitted the word "innocent"
In battle, and this is surely battle, decisive action is called for. Bold action, quickly and firmly taken is better than well thought out, considered action, after the battle is over.
The laws are clear, this is murder. The government is supposed to intrude on murder, to stop it, not start it.
In this case, the Governor and the President are not law abiding, but rather Judge abiding. There is a time and a place for everything. This is not the time to be in awe of a Circuit Court Judge who is a deatheater. This is not the place for judge abiding. We have bad news for the Executives, the deatheaters will never like them, even if they do abortions on their respective kitchen tables. Time for the President and Governor to get over it, get on with being leaders.
"It's a good system if you like monarchy and legally sanctioned murder. But spare me the paeans to "strict constructionism" and "limited government."
Who died and made Judge Greer our King? Who in the blazes rewrote our laws to grant murder legal sanction in America? Spare me the lecture about federalism and states' rights. If you love to live in King George's III America, then its a good system. Our Fathers were traitors to King And Country.

Hear, hear.
Ann as usual is brilliant.
Truer words were never spoken.
One will notice that AP articles only mention that "a federal judge today ruled" without bothering to expand on the actual identity of the black-robed godlette in question...
ROFLMAO!
Ann is correct in that only one opinion has been issued in this circumstance - that of Judge Greer. Other levels of the judiciary have reviewed the case, but no additional facts involving the case have been introduced or even considered. The review of the case has been limited to determining if there was "judicial error" in arriving at the decision, and finding none, the verdict was simply rubber-stamped.
I am reminded of the execution of Private Eddie Slovik, during the Second World World, in which the conclusions of the first court-martial of Private Slovik, the sentence was death by firing squad (for desertion). The results of this court-martial were simply bucked up the line, with no call for clemency, all the way to the desk of General Dwight Eisenhower, whose comment on the situation was that no exonerating circumstances were ever provided at any level, so the decision must be right.
This is a parallel situation with Terri Schiavo, in which no call for clemency has been answered anywhere by any of the courts involved.
Michael has almost won. And the referees never called "Foul", even though a large part of the crowd saw the foul committed.
This is not a number on the scoreboard. This is a life.
Supporting the idea that positions on the Schiavo case are correlated with IQ, on the pro-killing side is Rep. Chris Shays, R-Conn., who denounced the legislation granting federal courts jurisdiction over Terri's case, saying the Republican Party "has become a party of theocracy."
Bump -- Hahahahahaha.
I think we have almost all liberals in America on record saying we can pull the plug on them.
I'm probably not the only Freeper who has heard their liberal friends say they want to "have the plug pulled." Leaving aside the fact that there was no "plug" in Terri's case, I have been very distressed by their rush to get dead. Many of them are about my age (top of the Baby Boom generation) and in another 5-10 years will retire and become useless eaters. I hope they know what they're letting themeselves in for.
Of course, they won't need to worry about Social Security any more. Maybe that's really what's behind the liberals' rush to death.
Bump to both: thread and post.
Double barrels of moral and intellectual clarity.
Which is of course why most people either A. have never heard of them, or B. hate them with a bright burning passion.
They are both treasures, none the less.
