E-Bay is a great resource for new and used armor/swords.
It requires some research....one can get return answers on technicals...ie...what is the sword blade made of..220/440 stainless///carbon?
Have a Samurai sword with a certain braid and color pattern in mind.,,,,E-bay has 8 different foriegn brokers.
I find historic peices to be great communication avenues.
My favorite piece is a USMC helmet Vietnam.
Have a British helmet from the Zulu war/Khartoum era.

A family member was a Gunny with 3/3/3 Marines...Quangtri Prov Vietnam. 65-69.
He was at Khe Sahn...Con Thein...the Hill fights in the Ashua Valley complex[Hamburger Hill].

I think its important to pass on their legacy.
and ya....one of my Family members was in Woolseys Army which kicked the crap out of the Mahdi after Khartoum.

anyhoo...I'm sure their are many great achievements/experiences in your family tree...
You may have partaken in history yourself.
Its the stuff worthwhile to pass along : )
