They like the respect for women that it teaches. They also like the lack of intermediaries between them and God.
It must be an individual thing.

I was always under the impression that Christians can pray directly to God. Am I wrong? And in the Islamic world, if things are so direct between the believer and God, why are there all those Imams and Mullahs and religious tribunals set up to punish and terrorize anyone who doesn't toe the doctrinal line?
