Are the workers at these plants by any chance union?
The US Navy never seems to have problems with their reactors. Even with people like Jimmy Carter in the navy nuclear program there have not been meltdowns and reactor leaks.

What you mean is "the U.S. Navy never reports having problems like this". And if the commercial nukes had the luxury of bottomless pockets, they probably wouldn have the problems either.

The US Navy never seems to have problems with their reactors... Yeah, that poor sailor impaled by a control rod to the top of that reactor vessel in Idaho must have just slipped and fallen or something...
