It doesn't have to be a solid argument for them. It just has to rhyme.
To say nothing of their quarter-century spent emasculating the CIA
So the obvious (to thinking people) comes about:
Why do they spend years tearing down the system, then go nuts when it fails?
It's win-win for them politically.
So are drugs to an addict.
They have a problem, so they make themselves oblivous by using the problem.
