Wow. That's a little too much bitterness for me to handle. Sounds like you took him quite personally...there is no arguing with that.
I still think it's a pretty nasty thing to say, and I'll stand by it, no matter what you may think.

Nothing personal at all. He has nothing to do with me. Nor have I ever had any connection to a criminal trial, on one side or the other. I would suggest that you don't know enough about the man.
