From the December 1998 Jeb Bush Governor-elect website, shortly before his first oath of office for Governor of the State of Florida, (archived). Available through "Wayback Machine".
I could not have found anything more ironic on The Web today, than this from the past. Past promises. Past vision.
Have at it Freepers.

As Governor, I will work to allow individuals with disabilities and/or their families to have more say about what services and necessary treatments are provided, based on each person's professionally identified needs.

Jeb Bush is not a traitor, however, he is not leading.
That is obvious.
He is the supreme executive of Florida, he believes an injustice is taking place, and he has decided to.....
(not lead?)

So he's a hypocrite, Tom DeLay too, what's the big deal? I doesn't take away from the fact that this is an issue that's best resolved through the legislative branch.
I want people to know that many of the KEYWORDS on this article I posted here, have been added to in the last 10 minutes. A number of the "Keywords" are not mine. Thanks.

Jeb Bush has no spine. No cojones, nothing. When faced with one little stinking rotten judge who is insane and wrong and criminal in his ruling, the jebinator runs away.
Ole Jeb should save this woman and then battle the contempt of court. Let him call out state police and if they don't obey, fire them. Then call out the Guard. Do what you have to do to save Terri, then defend your action. Tell the press that the judge was in contempt. Fight for what you believe in!
This worthless jeb won't risk a bit of his political hide to save a womans life.
Jeb could have told the cops to withdraw from the hospital, that wouldn't have violated Greer's ruling. Then he could have sent in those of his police who would obey him.
Fight for what you believe in.
Jeb said he wished he could help but he couldn't. Voters should say, "We wish we could vote for you, but we can't".
Ole jeb wouldn't save a baby in the middle of the road because it would entail jay walking and oh my, that would be breaking the law.

I am convinced that, whenever possible, Floridians with disabilities should be able to remain in their communities with their families, friends or roommates and receive the support services they require. This is too easy. Please spread this far and wide - NOT DEAD YET would especially get a kick out of it.
Never forget. jeb bush was the last man to turn his back on Terri in her greatest hour of need . . . and walked away - thumbing his nose at God and all of us. I will never forget.

You really need to get a grip on reality.
Jeb Bush did all he could legally do.
It is the Shindler attorneys that screwed up. They didn't take advantage of what Congress did for them, George Bush did for them and what Jeb Bush did for them.
Gesh!
