This is all becoming very tiresome.
At least WJC (that's Mr. Hillary) had the b*lls to take action when he thought something (that would be Elian) was worth the risk. W and Jeb would do well to find their spines. Freepers - the Repubs are heading for a disaster in 2006 unless we help them find their backbones.
"And you know this to be a fact because..........."
And you are either not very intelligent or very delusional. Or a conspiracy theorist. You will be proven wrong on all counts after the autopsy. Then we'll talk.
Especially when you see a thread like this, go to it, open it up, read, and then tire yourself out further by posting replys. Duh.
It's quite debatable that it is his job. The arguments of Keyes et. al. are not airtight. But in the meanwhile, you apparently believe that private citizen action is morally justified and legally defensible. So why not? Heck, we can always start a campaign to get Jeb to pardon you.
Why, NOW that you are here, as a matter of fact, YES! :-)
A confirmed court ruling?
You never responded to my post 22. May I assume it is because you concede the point? In what way is it merciful to kill someone who has no consciousness?
Dogs and cats just lay around all day doing nothing, but I bet you and that women have love for them and find worth in them.
What a totally ludicrous and specious argument. Cats and dogs function in between lying around in case you haven't noticed. And cats and dogs have living brains. Geez, what a positively stupid analogy. I'm debating with a bunch of whacko's. No point trying to appeal to logic because there isn't any on your part. End of conversation. You are too ridiculous to converse with.
In other words, this judge is simply acting in his judicial role.
Governor Bush should act in his capacity as the supreme executive of the state of Florida.
I heard some guy tried to rush into the hospice while Jesse Jackson was talking (and diverting lots of attention). However, the cops were able to tackle and taser him and arrest him before he got in. He was not armed. (That's what the news people said?!) He was carrying two bottles of water to bring to Terri.
"So let's not fool ourselves that we're doing her any favors by "letting her die." We're not."
We are.
But I'll give you another chance. In what way is it actually merciful? Remember, by your claims, she has absolutely no consciousness; she is not a person. Her body is but a bag of bones, chemicals, and electrical impulses.
At least WJC (that's Mr. Hillary) had the b*lls to take action when he thought something (that would be Elian) was worth the risk.
Holy crap! I never thought Id see the day that Clintons armed thug raid to kidnap a small boy and hand him, gift-wrapped, back to Fidel Castro would be praised on FreeRepublic!
But at least youre more consistent than most. If were going to root for the executive branch to use force of arms to overrule the judicial branch, we may as well apply our praise retroactively.
Get in there Jeb! Go get her - Reno style!
But you and all the other idiots blame Bush for this with no word of condemnation to Judge Greer, et al. You must be the driver of this limo
It's what's called for in this case, if Jeb wants to save this poor woman. And, parenthetically, Freepers could use a little shaking up. This thread is unbelievable. I got involved via Geezer and the Consumption Tax thread, but I'm real close to leaving.
The Schindlers can petition him to intervene. He can detect an injustice requiring intervention and simply act as supreme executive by making a decision to take her into custody until a process to hear the Schindler grievance is set up.
