A woman who bit down on a partial finger served in a bowl of chili at a Wendy's restaurant in California said she was disgusted by the experience while her attorney has filed a claim with the franchise owner.
Anna Ayala, 39, of Las Vegas, was dining at the Wendy's in San Jose, Calif., on March 22 when officials said she scooped up the inch-and-a-half long fingertip in a mouthful of chili.
"Just knowing that there was a human remain in my mouth ... it is disgusting. It is tearing me apart inside," Ayala told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday.

Let me be the first to propose: whatever the settlement amount is, I'm willing to eat an entire cooked human hand for 1/2 the amount the attorneys get.

I actually think this is a bona fide, it seems authorities are treating it as such, but spare me the Oscar worthy theatrics, yeah finding a finger in your food would be sickening but please, it's not like finding a head at the foot of your bed, it's not like watching your best buddy blown to bits in Iraq, it's not like watching your daughter die slowly of starvation
she lost on appeal I think or her award was seriously reduced or something........
And free Wendys chili for the rest of her life!
LOL. I want to hear your reaction after you bite down on a severed finger purchased at the restaurant of your choice. Methinks (and would wager thusly) that you would change your tune.
That being said, all of these stories make me a tad suspicious.

I'm just for once, neutral on one of these stories. Most of the time it's so obvious someone is looking for cash. This time... not so sure. I mean, how do you find a finger tip? Does her friend work at the morgue?? Doubtful.

I am sure someone will get fingered for planting the finger.
My gut reaction was the same as yours though. I bet it was an employee or the person filing the claim. People don`t get a good hunk of finger hacked off and it goes un-noticed. Something isn`t right with this story.

Maybe you've got a point.. I'll just say it again, out of all of these stories that come up from time to time.. this one is the most horrifying. Man that would suck.
Thank God Wendy's doesn't serve hot dogs.
