I got this email from the Schundler campaign today. I love what Bret is doing...Take an issue and try to fix it before he is elected...What a novel idea. Campaign promise paid up before election day.

New Jersey Property Tax Overpayment Notice

Dear Larry,

According to our records your family is being over-taxed for the property listed above, and many of the NJ elected officials in office now don’t care.

AND, it’s not only you.

Millions of NJ taxpayers have been overpaying for years, and state politicians have done nothing about it.

I am not waiting to be elected; New Jersey needs to fix this over taxation now.

Join your neighbors in New Jersey by signing our Petition to pass the Permanent Property Tax Reduction Amendments now. Follow the link below:

Yes, good move. The only chance the Republicans have to win in NJ is by using tactics like this. They have to paint Corzine as some Washington elitist who is out of touch and unaware of the ACTUAL problems that the citizens of this state face in their day to day lives. The voters of NJ have to be to understand that simply pulling the lever for a Dem, just for the sake of it, will not solve the problems this state faces, but only make them worse. Corzine will be to NJ what Davis was to California.

I like Schundler, but property taxes are a local issue not a state issue.

I think if he wants to be governor, he should tackle state issues. Otherwise, he can run for mayor again.

The NJ Supreme Court school funding decision made property taxes in NJ a state issue. Hell if I remember correctly, over half my parent's school tax portion of their property taxes go to other school districts.

His tax plan is very sound which will attract the unaffiliated voter to vote for him this time around.

Corslime has nothing to offer the property tax payer except more taxes and bigger budgets.
