Syria entered Lebanon and ended the civil war - then allowed for constitutionally structured representative democracy. Facts are facts.

You mean a puppet government? Yeah definently "free." Well now they are truley free. Nothing YOU can do about it but whine and make comical claims about Syria being a friendly nation.

whatever the flaws - Syria allowed elections - poltical parties - freedom of speech and a parlimentary system that follows that follows a constitution. How puppet is it if it loses elections, etc?

If Syria leaves - she leaves Lebanon better off then when she invaded. I dare you to disagree.
