This is great news! On January 1, 2008, once the US is still there and no major tsunami has happened, the Koran will have been proven wrong once and for all!

Lots and lots of people have claimed that the Bible predicted the end of the world on some particular date or another, yet people don't consider it to have been "proven wrong once and for all".

I know people who did that too.

We gave a big New Year's Eve party and everyone was talking about what they'd done. Mostly just small stuff like money out of the bank, gassed the car, water bottled.

They asked what we did and told them nothing. By 12:05 a.m. when nothing happened, they were feeling a little foolish.
