In addition to wanting to exterminate an entire race, they also wanted to exterminate those who were mentally retarded, developmentally disabled, and so on.

From a quick search on google: If one looks at history, it becomes clear just where the practice can lead. In Nazi Germany euthanasia became an obsession, eventually resulting in the belief in eugenics or the achievement of a genetically "superior" race. Beginning with the mentally and physically disabled, 200,000 of whom were systematically murdered between 1939 and 1945, euthanasia later became part of the Nazis’ final solution. Jews, Gypsies, Gays, Communists, German dissenters, and others were experimented on and finally targeted for extermination under the rationale that they were "inferior."

Okay, so there was a trial here. Resulting in the state sanctioned starving to death of a physically and mentally disabled woman.

I know "slippery slope" is so cliche, but it seems fitting.

....how do you feel when activist's hold up "Bush is Hitler" signs?..do you feel they are justified?

Huh?

but you are taking one small facet of one small case and turning it into an analogy......i'll bet most experts on WWII would say that is nuts......totally......and Germany was taking many people nowhere near the state Terri is....again, you grasp at straws.......that is like saying a cow and spider are very similar because the both have legs...very very far fetched.........but hey....close by your standards
