You are welcome, I have seen many beautiful and passionate posts in defense of Terry right to live (some by you). I do not accept that it is our side that is slinging all or even most of the mud.

I am simply asking for any proof that you might have concerning either of your assertions. I guess my only "proof" is that a man who would not let his former wife (yes, he has moved on and has a new wife now) parents care for her, and let her live out her life in peace, is disgusting to me. He would rather she go though a painful, agonizing death by starvation. That makes him VINDICTIVE, because some of his ill-gotten gains from the malpractice suit actually went for her care, thanks to Terri's parents. He is mad as HELL about that one.
In addition, I personally don't have "proof" that O.J. killed Nichole, or that Scott Peterson killed Lacy, or Robert Blake killed Bonnie Blakley. I don't have "proof" that Michael Jackson is a child molester. Doesn't mean I don't know it's not so.
I don't have the DNA evidence, IN MY HANDS, of the monster who murdered my cousin's 21 year old daughter. But I know what the police have told us, how his DNA was all over her tortured and brutally raped body.
In all of the above cases, you have to decide if you're going to be a moron, and dismiss the overwhelming evidence like you seem to do, or see things AS THEY ARE.
I really feel sorry for you. You are the EPITOMY of what is wrong with our court systems today. You don't have a CLUE.

I agree. It's just a means to keep the truth quiet while
"acting' to be what they are not.

I will not despair, I will praise God for just the mere opportunity to serve and help one of these helpless ones.

Right on. I'm so done with the Infamous Husband of the Month Club. So-called "conservative news" (Fox and others) is starting to look like a family hating women's studies course (same tactic used in those to turn the heterosexual women against men). It's the media focus and the castrating/lynching gang.
BTW, Susan B. Anthony spoke in favor of lynching, too, when she visited the old South.

The aftermath of this will be a whole lot of people checking into hospice thinking that their DRN means one thing when it really means they just won't be getting dinner some day. No water either. But look how it will help those insurance companies.

I ask a legitimate question about proof and you respond with opinion and insults?
Sad.

I only hope the aftermath of this situation is not Democratic victories in 2006 and 2008 If that happens, and Conservatives put the blame on our President and Gov. Bush, it will be because they are uninformed, and want us to throw the laws out the window. Then, God help us all.
I hate what Terri and her family is going through.
However, THE PEOPLE WHO CAN CAST THEIR BALLOTS AND VOTE need to put their money where their mouths are, do the research, and not vote for these bleeding heart liberal judges come next election.

I doubt if it will hurt the Republicans in 2006 and 2008, IF the GOP in the Senate use this judge's "power" as more of an impetus to get Bush's judicial nominees through--
Besides, what are the Democrats gonna pound their chests about regarding this situation? They all ran away and hid like girly-men and girly-girls---especially the "leaders" like Hilary, Biden, Reid, Pelosi---haven't seen any of them on TV since BEFORE the vote two weekends ago---
NO, the Reps handled this awkwardly, the Bushs perhaps didn't do enough, or did too much, BUT the dems were AWOL (as usual)

I answered legitimately, and with the passion of my convictions.
Your question was actually quite moot to begin with, who has proof of anything? However, you might try educating yourself on this horrific situation, and come up with the logical conclusion. I have.

"At one point this thread was about a funny cartoon!"
That is true! But I am sending a letter back to someone in the RNC office and copies to my congressmen. ...totally had it. Our Republican Congressmen voted in favor of more laws to entice women to divorce/separate and unconstitutionally imprison men in the 1990s, and now this media campaign that is for nothing more than to drum up generalized hatred against all husbands... Not so long ago, a woman butchered her husband and ate him, but we didn't hear much about that. Other women murder their own children almost daily, and we see outpourings of goddess worshipping sympathy and distractions for them. Those are feminist propaganda tactics, and they've been pushed in our Party by feminazis who work from both parties for over 150 years.
I won't be any part of helping to destroy the family for a bunch of pagans with victimology propaganda and calls for lynchings.

I'm pretty well convinced myself that Michael Schiavo is murdering his wife, but hey, what do I know? I was under the misapprehension that the right to life was inalienable, as the Declaration of Independence says.

Tragedy and humor are closely related. Our leadership has bungled a mere spark of an issue and allowed it to detonate the very core of this party. There were any number of roads that would have safely seen justice served. Instead we sit here, as a poor woman is starved to death, awaiting word of the success of her tragic slow motion murder.

It seems like there are some that are trying to downplay the murder aspect of Terri.

I'm for actually outlawing abortion and punishing those who do it. But are those who claim to be "pro-life?"
"
President Of Feminist For Life Of America To Address Sacred Heart"
Sacred Heart University
"
FFL has emerged as the link between the pro-life and pro-choice worlds, working on efforts such as the enforcement of child support and, the Violence Against Women Act."
And that's one of the reasons abortion is still legal and common. 2/3-3/4 of all divorces are sought and filed for by wives, because most of them can, and are enticed into splitting by a long term man hating campaign. Debtors' prisons and imprisonments for nothing more than accusations are unconstitutional. ...exactly why we're seeing the situation we see with the courts today.

I STILL think the cartoon was funny, but I am not surprised that this turned into yet another debate about Terri's case, instead of the a thread about the DEBATERS...
For a while, almost every thread I got on, regardless of topic, had a poster or two attempt to turn it into an anti-illegal immigration thread--LOL
I ventured over to the MAIN thread #7, I believe, of the Terri case--and there seem to be fights between posters just as vitriolic as ever, interspersed with posters posting prayers for Terri--
Mayber JR should insert that cartoon at the top of each page of that thread, just to put a mirror in front of the posters---LOL

Resultantly, they alienated a large portion of the social conservatives even though their legalistic rationales pleased the RINOs and secular conservatives.
I maintain they have alienated both sides of the issue with Pubs. The "alleged" RINOs and secular conservatives (and libertarian conservatives) are disgusted with both Bushes over the federal vs. state rights issue, and as soon as Terri dies, the social conservatives will hate them because they didn't get what they wanted. All will be disgusted with Congress for one reason or the other here. Therefore, I'm afraid the true loser will be the Pub party as a whole, and could have bad consequences in the 2006 and 2008 elections, caused by disgruntled Pubs, on both sides of the issue.
