I don't want to be a hotlinker, but no matter which side of this you're on, you'll have to admit that this is the funniest take on this case yet - and it's aimed squarely at us.

And just think, because people died (unfortunately), you now have the right to tell us all how "emotional" we are. Kind of precious idea, isn't it.

Please cite the statute that allows a judge to forbid a person from being allowed oral food and hydration.It was a civil case based up "preponderance of evidence". Probate judges interpret the wishes of those who can no longer speak for themselves all the time.

But there is, always have been, and always will be a segment of the posters here who can't crawl out of their narrow point of view to even be civil to people who disagree, let alone recognize that the entire planet doesn't share their limited view of the world. In many respects, they are absolutely no different from the rabid Left, in that anyone who doesn't fall into lockstep with their ideals is either evil or stupid, or part of some Orwellian conspiracy.
They must be a real joy to live with. Fortunately, the worst usually end up at Liberty Post, with all of the other "true conservatives".

I went without food for three days and started to get sick. Added milk and broth. Still sick. Started eating again. I said I could not let myself get sick because I have family responsibilities.
I finally came out of the hidy-hole to join in the melee.I stayed out of it too. I was pretty much unconvinced either way until the views of Terry's friends were mentioned, and the preponderance of medical evidence became clear.

I looked up some of their prior postings on several other subjects and found... viola', they were definitly NOT on the conservative side at all. I was actually surprised.
I know for sure that some are libertarians and independents and not Republicans at all.
I know quite a few of them are anti-religion.
Please, I couldn't get any respect from you anyway, because I believe there is CSF where Terri's cerebrum used to be. That alone precludes respect from 99.9% of the "Storm the Hospice crowd" and the "Damn Jeb to hell" crowd as well.
The parents perceived, quite rightly IMHO, that Michael was trying to sandbag Terri's condition and use that as justification for killing her. I see no reason to give any credence whatsoever to the Schiavos' claims about Terri's wishes. They conveniently made up stories of different mettings with Terri, so there would be no need to worry about people keeping each other's stories straight. They further attributed to Terri an unbelievable level of foresight (who else would have predicted that the legislature would in 1999 change "life support" to include food and water?)
Michael, Felos, and Greer all have clear craven motives for killing Terri. How anyone can find them credible when their actions clearly indicate that they have for years tried to prevent any possibility of Terri getting better is beyond me.
