I think quite a few freepers are looking at this as Govt getting involved in a private decision.

I see this as an obvious flaw in the law that allows a "husband", who has been spawning with another woman for seven years, to be the sole decision maker when it comes to ending his estranged wife's life - at the horror and grieve of her loving parents.

The only thing I don't understand is why people don't see the judiciary (which is heavily involved in the case) as part of the "government." After all, it is - in fact, nowadays the judiciary has turned into the entire government.

If Terri herself had asked to have the tube removed, or if Terri had put her hands to the tube and pulled it out, I MIGHT agree.

I MIGHT also have just solved my retirement problems. I will build a 10 story building with an enclosed backyard that is completely covered in concrete. I will then sell 1-way tickets to the roof. I would expect NOBODY to interfere with the private decisions of those who buy the tickets.

The guys who collect the remains and cremate them would be part of the ticket price.

Shalom.
