I don't consider it bashing... I know what I know, and have seen. I know Jeb and W did all they could with in the law, IMHO.
I blame and feel sad by this whole situation. I see what is happening within my own party. I know Jeb and W wanted to intervene, but IMHO their hands have been tied.
No mater what they did or didn't do.. would make the masses upset with them.
I respect your POV. I don't agree with it, but I defend your right to feel that way.
Sad they didn't "say all they could say."
Time will tell, but the prolife outrage over this may have sealed the doom of the "Republican experiment" that began in 1994 and expanded in 2000. What's the use of electing Republicans if they cannot even prevent an innocent handicapped woman from being starved and dehydrated in broad daylight? The GOP is impotent.
This whole thing tells me how crooked and out of balance our system has become, not how evil Jeb and W are.
My prayer is that this has opened the eyes of our leaders so that they realize what they need to do to correct this imbalance.
IMO, this whole case has been about three things, and they all used each other to accomplish their agendas:
1. Michale Schiavo's attempt to get rid of Terri for his own selfish reasons, whether that was for money or to cover up his actions or just to get on with his life.
2. The Death Culture's attempt to set a precedent, and to get a firmer foothold in this country.
3. The battle of powers between our branches of government, with the judiciary out to prove that they are in control.
Unfortunately, at this point, it looks like they all three won in one single case.
Now, what are we going to do about it?
