We've changed threads recently. She DID say she has two autistic children. She's also scared about what's happening. How can anyone blame her? She did not say her autistic children were "sick." I think she was just conveying that she is concerned about people making decisions about her childrem, i.e. doctors, social workers, whatever. I can understand that
If these things are not a concern to you I suspect you aren't raising any handicapped children.
Maybe the Terri situation prompted her to sign up here. But, please, show a bit of empathy and give her the benefit of the doubt.
Just asking...:-)

Bump, not everyone that comes here is an Internet warrior, some look for comfort and companionship in trouble times. These are troubled times.

Oh dear Lord..........I am literally becoming ill with worry for my disabled children. I don't know what to do. Should I try to hide them? Even I could be considered a usless eater since I am unemployed (stay at home Mom). I am afraid to pursue therapy for them or even confirm diagnosis. Can't type anymore ...can't see well. *crying* Note, she says she hasn't had a diagnosis confirmed and is afraid to pursue therapy. So what is the truth? She says her children are disabled but by her post they have not even had a diagnosis. Now do you understand my impatience.
