After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
This is a good point: Terri is not being euthanized but murdered. And the American people seem to applaud.
Rush is bring back details of little Elian's disaster from five years ago.
I noticed the thread slowing down yesterday. Others may be in the same boat as I. I've been negelecting my own family so am trying to get things together to start the kids back to school tomorrow and the house in shape. I personally need to get out in the sunshine this afternoon since I've not wanted to be away from this for days. I'm with Terri, but don't know what else I can do. I've called. I've emailed. I've prayed. I've screamed. I've signed. I've spoken out. And much to deaf ears. Just a few minutes ago, one of the kid's friends was on the phone who said Terri wasn't any of his business and that he didn't believe hino had done the bad things people are saying. Un-freakin'-believable.
That is not what was reported on Fox yesterday. They reported that the reason that no one has seen Mike at the hospice, is because he is living inside there now. This way he does not have to come and go, and be taunted by everyone.
How awful for Terri to have her killer standing by her every minute...she needs her blood family by her side. If she dies without them there, they will always regret it. I know it is very, very hard to be there ...but Terri needs them.
How can it wake them up when MSM is lying t everyone? The majority of American citizens do not know the facts of this case. They believe the hogwash they are being fed. No one can 'wake up' if the truth is hidden form them. It is up to us that know the truth to make sure that that truth gets out. We need to be contacting the media...and be as relentless as we have been with trying to save her. We need to face the fact that we can't save her or we would have done so already.........only God can save her now. We need to make sure that the truth is known and never forgotten!
You know, this is going to have a profound effect on ALL of our goverment issues right now. ALL FOCUS is on TERRI. Just listen to the talk shows this morning. Do you hear about the latest in Iraq? do you hear about SS?? NOPE........even the latest 8.2 earthquake will seem pale for a while.( not minimizing that either!!!) We have been left down by the leadership and that is no LITTLE ISSUE!!

Yes. This issue may not drive his supporters and republicans away in droves but it'll sure drive away enough to make a difference. When presenting yourself as a "Christian conservative" who believes in the santity of life you need to have more than rhetoric to back it up. Especially when you come face to face with your convictions as the Bush brothers did.
Ya know Polly, I ahve Foxnews going on in the background, but I am not paying any attn! I frankly don't care! Tsunami? Who cares! Iraq war? Who cares? The people wnat answers as to why we are killing a disabled American women!

Well, the surprises in this case never end, do they? I bet he is the only "loving husband" in American history to move into the hospice while he directs the murder of his wife. Where is Detective Colombo when we need him? The sheeple haven't a clue.
Halls, it is not that these don't matter to us.....earthquakes, wars, unjustice! THEY DO..........BUT, BUT, if our leadership is saying, " bye bye, Terri, we can't help you........but we as a country are going to send millions to aid the victims of a earthquake raviged country".......they have RIGHTS, YOU DON'T!! THis just isn't setting with me, and I don't want to hear it.
According to the ones that are promoting Terris death as a good thing, the Wolfson report is the justification.
I don't understand it, I can't understand it. Terri is disabled. And for that, she's being killed. And people don't find a problem with that?
Halls, Terri's pending death makes me uninterested in other "issues" too. Rush is going to have a hard time getting the sheeple back on the Social Security and Iraq bandwagons. I have no desire to learn about the "latest" news on Fox and other such commercial-laden channels.

Me too! Geez, a man who would exact revenge in this manner and be so heartlessly cruel to a helpless disabled woman that he use to love and to her parents; does not exhibit too many signs that he will be a patient, understanding parent!
That Jodi would be wise to take this opportunity of his absence, to scoop up her kids and RUN! If she thinks he will be a better man after this is all over, she is making a fatal mistake! After Terri is gone, Mike will not have a direction for his anger...and it will be directed at her and the kids! A person's raw, true personality is revealed in how they handle life's problems. THIS is Mike's TRUE personality, and she better realise that!
Greer is one of the monsters that needs to be jailed.
