After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I remember. I can't stand the fact that his moral outrage is reserved for people of other countries and steroid use in baseball.
He had plenty to say about baseball...

Well, I hate to disagree with you but... the judge (Greer) is a Republican, 9 crucial senators who voted against saving Terri, in the Florida Senate, are Republicans, much of the 11th Circuit which has voted against saving Terri is Republican. One of the three judge panel who first heard of the appeal and voted against it is a Republican. The ones who have "done all I can do," Jeb and Dubya are Republicans. Many who are being polled on the subject and are against saving Terri are Republicans.
Just thought I'd mention it.
God Bless them. My prayers are with them as well as the SC to have the vision to save a life instead of looking for death loopholes.
That's still not a majority, and Jeb and W are NOT pro death. Just thot I'd mention that also.

Yes. I DID forget about that case. But Reagan DID get the federal government to act and spoke out a lot more than the current occupant.
Aborton bumper stickers do bother some. We've had people salute us with their finger because we had a very simple pro-life bumper sticker on our car.
As Carol Everett, former abortion clinic owner (now Christian and pro-life speaker), said, "I hated those little feet pins because they were shining the light of truth on me."
So do some bumper stickers.
I think you are right. MAJOR MAJOR demonstrations in Florida. Get James Kennedy and Coral Ridge behind this......If this gets swept under the carpet , it will only be a matter of time and you will lose all your freedom, period!!

MS made sure she didn't get therapy. I know kids with autism, CP, and Downs individually, what next? Those kids parents are worried!
Sometimes I don't even want to know all the answers; I just want peoples' suffering to end.

I'd like to remind you that President Bush ALSO got the Federal government to act.
Let's just admit, whether it's President Reagan or President Bush, that there's a limit to what they can do as president.
