After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

Did you hear this on the radio? Brian Schiavo acted like a jerk on a local Florida station when he threatened to sue Bobby Schindler. Brian sounded like a thug.

I think Laura does have a lot of influence, but there's something going on that is tying up the Bush family. Not that I'm excusing it or anything. Another poster speculated whether someone "has something" on Lauren Bush. These are people who will stop at nothing to murder Terri, so nothing surprises me.

Supposedly we have that person but I am not sure....I heard that we either need 3 votes OR we need 4 people to walk off the floor and NOT vote at all.

Police have arrested someone already for offering $50,000 to get Judge Greer killed and $250,000 for Michael Schiavo's murder.

Greer's received so many death threats that he has been assigned bodyguards. Others have received threats just for supporting the Florida Court decisions and Michael Schiavo's position.

That what happens when Randall Terry is involved.

I'm a bit more cynical in my observation. I don't think we can excuse this so easily. They have made a decision that they have "done all I can do." They have not. Aside from some lip service to "err on the side of life" I haven't heard them speak up on this travesty as much as they should have. Sorry, but that's what I'm seeing.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You are the Author of Life ... we thank You that You placed our beloved Terri within a family who would go to the ends of the earth on her behalf ... who would trade their lives that she might live. Sustain their daughter in these dark hours ... sustain her family in these dark hours, for there is yet time that the hardness of mens' hearts will be melted by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Wherever men meet at this hour to decide upon her fate, cause them to be incapable of doing anything other than letting this mother's child live. Draw them back from the brink of casting their lots against her ... let them now boldly proclaim their mercy. Be for this wounded woman the drink and sustenance she needs to safely pass through the valley. God of All Comfort, hold her unto the time of her rescue. In the Name of Jesus, we pray ... Amen ...

I am sitting here listening to the senate and wondering how they can have "business as usual" when a person in their own state is being starved to death...I don't live in FL and my whole life has been affected by this, how can they just go on like this? It is appalling. We were thinking about moving to FL in the next few years, but I am thinking not anymore.

I should add that instead of succumbing to popular opinion, on this issue, they should have done their best to SWAY popular opinion.

Thanks. This is the hardest task God's ever handed me (us). No personal challenges compare to this, but they certainly prepared me well for this.
