After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Amen and Amen..........decided to make tea and stay up for a while here, and pray. For some reason I have broken into song singing " Joyful Joyful we Adore Thee, ".....

I agree. I slept on and off today, too. Lord, we are still praying the same things we've been praying for 12 days. Please continue to sustain Terri and give her strength.
I'm going to go pray now....hope to wake up to good news in the morning.

Whittmore was in error....didn't follow the rules.....looked at case history....I'm not sure about anything but that the full 11th granted an appeal

As I said on the other thread just now, if they don't re-hydrate her now, if they make her attorneys prepare a new motion and have to go to courot, it would be beyond sheer savagery .. just obscene and reprehensible at this late date .. dear God -- let the ambulances be there to rescue and replenish her with good medical protocol .. Ok...ok...the error was in Whittmores court....congress expected him to order her fed while they reviewed. So if he screwed up, then the tube should be replaced while they review, right? Am I reaching? I'm praying

My Reply: Which is all everyone EVER does for Terri. They always jsut look to see if Judge greer followed Court Rules and NO ONE has ever got to rule on the actual evidence, which is waht Congress clearly intended. They intended people who are about to be euthanized to get a hearing in Federal Cout, just like convicted Death Row inmates get to review the EVIDENCE, not jsut to review the COURT RECORD. That is the whol De Novo part of the law.
I hope they meet real quick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 And I also hope Terri gets a Jurry trial becasue 12 men and womenwould never hear the evidence that Greer heard and vote that there was NOT conflict in the testimony about Terri's wishes. Greer can only Euthanize her if without a doubt he heard from others and knew 100% what terri's wishes would be. I take my chances on 12 people vs. 1 Judge greer any day.

I am in the states, I leave back for France on Saturday. I was traveling to my daughters wedding so I was without my computer for a week. I had to follow the tradgety (wow know I spelled that wrong!) on the car radio.
Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us in groaning which cannot be uttered, Romans 8: 26.
