After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Agreed. I said a while ago that Terri's the Shindler's attorney should have hired a PR rep for Terri. That's like with Mel Gibson and the guy who played Jesus made a comment or two last month but never followed through nor did their quiet sentence or two, much less their famous faces, make it to the networks. I doubt anyone but us and perhaps a few lurkers even knew Mel spoke out so it was for naught.
I read on a thread that up until recently, Jesse Jackson was quite uninformed about this matter; he thought the parents were being selfish. He did not know the facts.
Once he learned them, he admitted he was wrong and changed his mind, and there he is, in Florida.
That is what I read. If that is true, even though it is late in the day...at least he is there. At least he was also willing to listen to and learn the truth.
Some question his motivations as being self-serving because his reputation has been, it seems, numerous times.
However, God is always willing to use those who promote the truth, no matter the person's true intentions.
I am thankful God is willing to use Jesse, at this dire time.
BTW, welcome back ExPat!
Well, that was coinkidink. I just commented Mel hadn't done much more than a whisper and now he's on Hannity. But then again those alphabet and CNN news junkies don't even know who Hannity is, so he may still have not gotten the message out. And why so late?

You know what I have been thinking? In 3 hours Jusge Greer issued the restraining order against DCF. How long has it been since he has done anything about he Schindlers petitions to
#1 - Remove Michael as Guardian
#2 - Have terri Divorced from Michael.
I know the petition to have Michael removed as Guardian goes back to at least last July. Remeber how Michael didn't show up for the deposition? Then Jodi didn't show up becasue her mother was dying. Then it was the hurricanes etc. etc. etc. Greer takes his good old sweet time on those petitions but lickty split in only 3 hours he manages to rule AGAIN against anything the Schindlers put forward.
I hope you come back. I just posted my evening HOSPICE ON SCENE UPDATE.
How can it be possible for that judge to disregard a bone scan that says the patient has a history of trauma.
And on top of that, not to pay attention to the initial police report, which was routed to HOMOCIDE...?
I just don't get it.
I don't suppose the FBI would consider that a threat against the President...?
Perhaps his coming is at just the right time. Terri hanging on this long PLUS JJ urgently contacting the senators right now may make them more ready to vote for the bill than they would have otherwise.
All I know is that God is always on time, and His timing is always perfect.
Thanks Lauren!
I have been kind of avoiding you tonight because you have been ranting against the Bushies. As is your right dear, you are entitled to your opinion.
I don't share it, but I'm not going to let one small point of the whole big picture change my appreciation and recognition of the long time you have been on Terri's threads contributing and helping.
Nor do I; it would have been in vain. 200 years was not their desired legacy of time for this country, I am sure.
Blah, I was up at 3:15 last night and 11:15 now so my mind isn't working. Greer and the first judge (whatshisname) neither one paid their election fees or what not nor did they swear/sign .... can't see the screen... theempirejournal did a fantastic job on it this morning (or yesterday) so check them out. I'll blow your mind away! All Jeb needs to save Terri is right there in black and white, if he just would.
Because the judge just thought the bone scan was "interesting" and had no relevance to the case.....we are dealing with judge "because i said so."
I don't claim to know either what He has been thinking, ExPat, nor what He is going to do or is doing. But I do know that He is greater than anything else, and that His purposes will prevail in the end, whatever they may be. His ways are higher than ours. I praise Him for that, and my trust is in Him.
Ha, as if Greer would send it out of his little kingdom.
Amen. May God's perfect plan be realized (become a reality).
Yes, I heard those words out of JJ's mouth, that until now he thought Terri had been in a coma all these years, and that her parents were just being selfish not to let her go.
He knows the truth now.
