After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
So THAT was the occasion! I was wondering.
The law also says something about "due process," which Terri never had.
Hentoff: This is not a right to die case, this is a disabilities case.
I distinctly heard that Greer would arrest Jeb if he intervened, did I not?
"Terry Schiavo is sentient, I have talked to a number of neurologists who have seen her."
"She could be what is called "locked-in.""
"One of the most obscene cases I have ever seen."
Hentoff
Nat just mentioned Empirejournal. And Michael is talking to Felos involvement with the Roach Motel.
Listening to Savage right now, his guest said for listeners to go to TheEmpireJournal.com
The word is getting out!
Yep. Usurpation of power.
I learned in school the basics about judges.
THEY ARE NOT GIVEN, UNDER THE CONSTITUTION, ANY POWER TO ENFORCE THEIR OPINION. That is BEYOND their constitutional powers.
don't feel bad, the first time I voted for the third party choice....I can bring myself to say his name and by voting for the third party choice, I helped clinton into office.
Nat Hentoff talking about TEJ website, meticulous he says.
Anyone listen to Hannity this afternoon?
I believe I heard Jay Sekulow mention another filing in court, did anyone else hear it?
Hentoff: "Felos former chairman of board of the Hospice."
"This is compromised from the top to the bottom."
Savage is talking about the Thomas More Law Center findings. Astounding detail, he says.
Hentoff says Jeb should have stepped in in 2003, when he got the Thomas Moore letters, he would have been an American hero.
Savage: this is the most emotional case since he's been in radio, it has galvanized people, not letting it go.
Hentoff: this is one of the most decisive moments in American history. This is much more serious than Elian, a human life, this will affect the disabled for many many years. This is THE most important case since Brown v. Board of Education.
Personally, I think there's great corruption in why the Constitution is NOT being followed. It is highly unlikely it is not being followed due to ignorance.
yes, I thought it was Randall Terry though. It is another filing back to the 11th Court. He said that it was a error that had been made in the filing. They are going for another shot but not sure that they would get the 11th to co-operate.
I think I read up the thread that this was so. But I don't have the details.
that is my view nicmarlo. I canot understand WHY the Constitution is NOT being followed. That is my take.
Yes...I did hear him say he think's he's convinced Gibbs to refile a petition.
Realistically, they cautioned, time is running out....
Yep, it is pretty sick stuff!
very twisted stuff.
I switched over to Savage shortly thereafter.
