After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
She had just turned 41 a few months before she died; I was two weeks shy of 13. It wasn't a happy birthday. I wish she could have seen my children, etc. But, because of her loss, I started to go to church and found the Lord. He turns horrible things into blessings.

I hope you're right, but -- from a distance, admittedly -- it looks like he's got all his bases covered. The local political, legal and journalism establishment protects and applauds him. The state political leaders seem intimidated by him -- he commandeered local police and had them repel a state agency and the state law enforcement agency, and nothing has been done about that. And didn't you suggest, yesterday, that corruption reaches so high in the state, that Greer is safe? (I'm not saying I believe that -- I'd frankly be surprised if it's true -- but I do think you said it. If not, please correct me)

I don't know how about you, guys, but seeing Terri safe with her family and potentially able to tell her story some time in the future has become one of my greatest dreams over the past month. She just feels so close, like a sister. I pray for her, I think of her, I dream about her being safe. She seems so beautiful to me, with all her humanity and will to live despite everything. My God keep her in the palm of His hand.

I just couldn't see the other way, as a little girl.
Still can't see any other way.
Not that I agree with everything they do..Because I don't.
But I still don't see any other way.
They are the party of life and when that changes....... I don't know what I'll do. But I hope I don't see that in the near future. God willing.

Yes, I have visualized that over and over. Also her standing up behind the podium of crowds of people proclaiming the Greatness of Our God!!!!!!!!!
What kind of person would declare it ILLEGAL for a mother to give her own daughter a sip of water?
Savage talks about Catholics being among the first (along with the Jews) to protest against the rise of antisemitism in Germany and about Catholics being now spit on by the CNN. How true is that.
I think it wasn't clear until then, that the GOP Congress would do anything to try to help Terri. And Rush doesn't seem to be proactive in urging the GOP to take a particular course of action. Instead, he comes in and defends their decisions after they've been made. so, when Congress took action to help Terri, that seemed to be the signal for Rush to start talking about Terri.
I can't figure out any other explanation for his relative silence on the issue before that Friday. He's certainly been good, once he starte on it, though. (Although is he now focused - like Hugh Hewitt - on defending the Bushes for not calling out Judge Greer? I usually can't listen to Rush (at work), so I'm not up on what his current emphasis is)
