After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Amen!

My husband was complaining that JJ was just doing it for publicity. I rebuked him saying "If Jesse Jackson were doing this for publicity, he'd have gone to visit Michael Schiavo!" Now THAT would have been a media feeding frenzy!

If you truly believe that everything happens for a reason then there is no such thing as coincidence. I believe that 'coincidence' is just us getting a tiny glimpse at what our Lord is doing.

Rush was saying yesterday that Gonzalez hindered DOJ efforts to support the Congressional law in the courts. I have no idea where Rush got that info, but it makes it seem that Gonzalez is also poll influenced in his decisions.
Lord Jesus, we thank you for hearing our prayers. We pray You will hold tight of Terri and don't let her go...let the world know that YOU are her salvation and YOU alone. Even if you use Jesse Jackson in this situation, I pray that even HE will turn and thank YOU, because all glory is Yours. Lord we don't yet know what you're going to do in this situation, but it looks like we're seeing a wonderful, beautiful miracle in the works. Keep Terri save -- proclaim your Name to the world, Most High! Who will deny after this that YOU have not done it!? Lord...keep Terri healthy, free of pain, and feed her and give her water...in Jesus precious and MIGHTY name.
there's been quite a bit of symbolic things happening this past week....as you mentioned, Jesse.
Today, in the news, there's mention of the Pope possibly needing a feeding tube.
Yesterday, the day after Easter, a major earthquake.
Of course, the entire week being during Easter, itself.
Terri's family's name being Schindler.
Of course, anyone could say it's mere coincidence. That's possible. But, it could be something else.
I was just thinking about Jesus in the wilderness today. I asked him, "How thin were you, Lord, when you came out of the wilderness? How much water was there?"
There is a psalm that says something akin to I will live in a dry and thirsty land where no water is.
