After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Amazing stuff!

You know that I share that belief. They may think that they have Terri's life in their hands, but they don't! She is in the hands of a living God!
I said this a few days ago, to someone else:
God hears our cries. He has chosen not to allow anyone in government to save Terri's life.
God has allowed Terri's husband to have control over her.
Why?
I am not sure, but in the Bible, God often allowed evil people to have control over His loved ones. And what I also noticed was that God's loved ones, never treated those who Lord over them, with contempt. They treated them, and asked them for mercy, without resenting what those "Lords" had done to them. Think of Joseph. He forgave his brothers. He did not plot against Potipher's (spelling?) wife...Joseph was unjustly treated. Yet he did not complain, or resent what the Lord allowed into his life.
Think of Nate Saint and the other missionaries who were killed in south america. Their wives and children forgave and loved the killers and actually moved in with them! They had their eyes on what was important, the salvation of those who are lost.
Jesus said to love our enemies. Terri's life is in God's hands, not anyone elses, really. Only God gives life, and he numbers our days. He can save Terri whenever he wants to.
So, one might ask what is the lesson here is?
Perhaps it is that we must all be prepared to act as Christ acted during his passion. He FORGAVE his killers. He died for them.
We must forgive.
I know this is hard to take, but Terri's parents and siblings MUST forgive Mike. Their hard hearts are more deadly than Terri's death.
They must go to the person God has allowed to be in control of Terri's life and beg him to save their daughter.
I think that Mike is also a target of God's mission in this ordeal. Mike's salvation is important to God. Now is the Schindlers chance to reveal God's love to this man, and the world.
I did just see that video, must have been CNN. I did see it was Michael Schiavo.
Additionally, I could also see a portion of Terri's breast beneath the shirt that they had to lift up for the entire world to view.
He's a pig, a beast, and a liar.
Pepper, I saw the same thing. I was shocked when I recognized that it was Michael. You weren't seeing things. I saw it too. I hope somehow, we can get her AWAY from hospice and Michael. God Bless and keep Terri safe.

Lord, we see a glimmer of hope, but our eyes are still firmly fixed on YOU, not on men. If this is to be, we pray there will be a miraculous vote TODAY...NOW. Let the senate have compassion and human mercy, which they seem to be sorely lacking if they think they can wait another day. What inhuman monstrosity! Lord Jesus, we thank you that YOU are merciful. Our eyes are fixed fully on you. Please keep all of Terri's organs working perfectly, and give her drink and food that only you know about. Help her, Oh, Lord, and we give You all honor and glory...because who BUT YOU can accept it? Let all the world see, Oh Lord, that you are God! In Jesus name.
They've set themselves up for the perfect fall now by not taking a stand for life. Huge mistake. Somebody like Jesse Jackson rides to the resue and manages to save Terri and, when the real info gets to the masses, those sliding poll numbers ain't gonna be nothing compared to now.
Please do not give up.
The Lord has shown me to continue to speak truth and He will be praised!

I read somewhere that Bobby Schindler was very angry toward Michael and the government and even God, until he saw The Passion last year and he learned to forgive and give his anger over to the Lord.
I also heard him say last week, when asked if he wanted to say anything to Terri's supporters, "Yes, continue to pray for my sister. Pray for my parents. And most of all, pray for Michael Schiavo."
IMO that takes a lot of grace for him to ask for prayer for Michael. We all need to follow his example.

Ya know, if Jeb had really wanted to save terri he would have gotten the legislators to pass that bill. He would have had many people making calls for him. Even after it failed he could have still be begging them for a revote and get them to change their mind. If he has than great, it appears he is doing nothing! If Jesse gets the votes and Terri lives I will shake my head even more at the Bush's for doing nothing when they could have easliy done what Jesse has done to save Terri!

Maybe we could get him to support Terri.

Oh, my gosh! Does anyone have a screen capture of this horror? It would be nice of Terri's feeding tube were screened out to protect her privacy, but I would like to see mikie and the look on Terri's face.

Yes. He's even making it look easy. I think that Jeb is being exposed as having only tried to look like he was trying to save her. The same attitude is here on this board as well and is increasing in tone. After the truth comes out, and if Jackson's efforts bear fruit, the GOP may find itself wishing they still had the current poll numbers.
