Part 7 - EASTER SUNDAY -NO FOOD OR WATER 10-11TH DAYS- SHE'S FIGHTING TO LIVE [Schiavo]

After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

BREAKING NEWS during Jesse Jackson's press conference: A man tried to breach the sidewalk into the police line.

We have the first arrest at Hospice Woodside by TAZER. FIRST TAZER. Insurgents armed with water... Terri needs water. They bring TAZERS instead.

Exactly! My mom lives to take care of her parents. My grandparents both live on my parents land. They are both in their 80's and both not well and crippled! My mom takes them to all doc appts, cooks for them all the time, etc... She rarely gets a break! Yes it is s burden to my mother, but that is her joy! Felos believes that the merciful thing to do would be to end their life so my mother would be free of the burden. How sick and twisted is this? Might as well start offing all the elderly!

Is there somebody here, who can a message to Jesse Jackson, and PLEASE have Jesse go to media

I'll tell you, if Jesse has trouble getting in front of a camera, it's because the media is balking at this.

There has never been a problem before when he has not gotten publicity for it when he has tried!

Please forgive me for being obnoxious, but I feel such a need to emphasize that we need to get our eyes off of Jesse Jackson (though we need to pray for him now!) and even off the Florida Senate. Our focus needs to be on the Lord and what His plans are...if He's using the senate and Jesse as a tool, then great, but the Lord is Terri's only deliverance, and when this is over, He needs to get the honor and praise (whichever way it turns out).

That having been said: Thank you Lord that you use men and women to effect the means to your own ends. If you are using Jesse Jackson as a tool, we give you glory and honor and know that all praise goes to you. Only you know how this will end, but WE know that whatever happens will bring glory and honor to YOUR name alone, and you are to be praised. We pray that if you are using Jesse that you will give him great success, and very, very soon. We continue to pray for Terri's organs, that they will remain perfectly healthy, and we pray that you will not let her be in pain. Hold onto her, Lord Jesus, confound her enemies and bring glory to YOUR name. It is you we will praise, not Jesse Jackson or the Florida legislature or Jeb Bush, but you. Thank you Lord, in Jesus name.

Heard about that. Disgusting. BTW, if you see that young man from Colorado... the one goose-stepping and giving the Nazi salute right in front of the cops, please tell him "thank you" and "be careful" for me, would you?

I'm glad she goes to Afghanistan. I am horrified by what happens to Terri, all the Terris, and the rest of us, by the time her husband and Jeb finally "get it". Both. At the same time. Please attack me Halls. I deserve it, every bit as much as Laura does. Go ahead. Lay into me. Nothing I have done for Terri matters. I am glad Laura is going to Afghanistan, while I am horrified by the torture of Terri and what will become of all of us. For that, I am scum.

Jackson said he has been on the phone to members of the Florida Senate, asking them ``to be creative and craft some emergency legislation . . . to stop the starving, stop the dehydration.''

He said he also has called the office of Gov. Jeb Bush. ''He needs to get back to us,'' Jackson said.

GO, JESSE! Light a fire under them!

When that POS Felos gives a statement gleefully salivating about Terri dying, the press hangs on his every word. I've seen one small snippet of JJ. And one nano second of Mary saying JJ praying with her gives her strength.

MSM doing what they do best.

Thanks Truth. I pray that the will do just that, but time is short. Of course someone said today that Terri is in GOD'S HANDS, and God can hold her here as LONG as HE NEEDS TO.........PRAYING!!

We don't need the MSM or any of the other guys...this is about Terri and the Lord...let's get our focus on Jesus. It's His fight now. The bad guys have taken their very best shots already...they can't do any more harm. Now let's see what the Lord will do.

I hope and pray there is no violence.

Thanks for the report just now!

There is enough violence going on INSIDE that little hospice, to last the whole town of Pinellas for at least 10 years.

I am just asking, as I am all for anything Jesse can do. But, why did Jesse wait until she is near death? Is there some reason he was unable to come sooner, since he obviously planned to go?

I was just wondering that myself. No idea.

Maybe he didn't really think it would get this far, that every option would be denied.

I just don't know.

Freepertoo, I have been feeling this strongly also, and I think what you said bears repeating:

It might be 'moral grandstanding'. He could be doing both, standing up for morals and yet grandstanding in the process. They are not necessary two mutually exclusive terms.

However, if it helps the cause and saves the girl, I won't complain about him.

Finally!

Mary Schindler (C), mother of brain-damaged Florida woman Terri Schiavo walks accompanied by Reverend Jesse Jackson (R) before a press conference in front of the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida, March 29, 2005. The dispute over the fate of Terri Schiavo neared its end Tuesday as the brain-damaged Florida woman moved closer to death and her parents gave up their long and bitter legal battle to prolong her life. This is the stuff of history. Jeb Bush is in a position to make a difference. If he sends in the National Guard (I don't really know if he can), the LEOs might back down, and who knows how many of the local officers wish that the Guard would show up to give them an out?

But we should remember that there are new training programs being used, in which applicants are asked if once on duty, if they're ordered to open fire into a crowd of American citizens, would they obey? Those who answer in the affirmative proceed with training. Those who answer in the negative do not proceed. Whether the LEOs are among such soldier-mercenaries is another question.

There would be a stand-off. Such situations are not unheard of in our past. One possible consequence is something called "civil war" but it has little to do with civility. Jeb Bush would be putting his life on the line for a principle he believes in. Not long ago, Americans used to say, "he's a man of principles." That would be an honorable thing. Would we respect him for it? I would.

Anyone else?
