After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Thank you. Although I haven't been too worried about it!

I'm sorry he wasn't one of those swept away by last summer's huricanes.
I don't know - that's an interesting question. I would presume he would think he's safe because it was all done by the "rule of the court."
Another thing to look at.is it possible that Felos is also a Scientologist? Is it possible that Terri's settlement went to the 'church'?
I know I'm wildly speculating now but there are way too many connections to scientology here........
Yes but was she a scientologist? The two I posted were and were also cared for by that hospice.
How about WE run for office? "Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness" (also known as wimp-outs, etc.)
I certainly wouldn't doubt it. Felos seems to get a real perverse kick out of death. If Scientologists love death and so does Felos, they certainly have common ground.
Hey, what if it was Jodi who was the Scientologist and who put Michael in touch with Felos? "I know this great lawyer who'll solve your problem for you."
You can't convict anyone for being a Scientologist or what if.
I guess I now wish Janet had won the Governor's race...I think she would have saved Terri. You are right, she did what she thought was right, and took the heat for it.
Has anyone asked her what she would have done? Where is she? I would like to know what she has to say about this.
I was surprized to hear Jesse Jackson speak out so strongly in favor of saving Terri's life!
1992
Aug - Terri awarded $250,000 in malpractice settlement.
Nov - Terri awarded $1.4 million in malpractice trial.
Nov - Michael Schiavo awarded $600,000 in malpractice trial.
1997
May - Judge Shames approves Schiavo action to remove Terri's nutrition and hydration.
Jul - Schiavo's engagement to Jodi Centonze announced.
Aug - Attorney Felos's letter notifying Terri's parents of action to remove Terri's nutrition and hydration.

I'm not sure when he met Jodi....he was involved with Cindy Shook in 1991, I think...and then tried to have a relationship with Trudy Capone at some point...
I know......but I haven't come across a man (yet) listed as having died at the hospice...(I'm sure there must be).
Based on your timeline, I would suspect that Jodi knew Michael before Judge Shames approved his motion. Notice that his engagement was announced just two months later.
My Senators ARE pro-life, but are doing NOTHING about Terri. I will give them angry phone calls for now.
If Jodi was the one who convinced him that Terri was "already dead," then the Schiavo brother's testimony was obviously hearsay. The "court" accepted Michael's brother's testimony as fact, but if it could be proved that Jodi suggested the scenario, wouldn't that help to prove perjury?
Wasn't there a story last week of a man's grandaughter unable to be at her grandfather's side at the time of his death because of the security?
hmmmm DON'T SLOUCH!!!
I agree. Note, also, Felos (and the Hospice) was already involved with MS by May (he is mentioned as the attorney to be hired for MS in the letter from Bushnell to judge Shames).
I believe I did read something about that...a nephew/granddaughter was "kept back" by police barricade, because of "crowd control reasons."
I never joined! I'm from Montana, we are all independents. Don't believe in any political parties.
And we actually have sports arenas and holidays celebrating Vigilanties!
