After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

Who would have thought right after 9/11, that a little over 4 years later, all of America and the world would be standing and watching a woman who was NOT terminal,
starve/dehydrate to death for days, and days, and days...

I just read all the records on your site. Noone has mentioned a gyn consult at Humana, her initial hospitalization. She was placed on IV flagyl by the gyn and had an infection when she came in. And she had a knee effusion, fluid in her knee, and no impression of why was given. You wonder about both.

Yep and Glenn Beck is so disgusted by Jeb and george! He said on Friday that they have bowed to the judicial system and let themselves be placed beneath them! Sean hasn't quite jumped that far yet, but I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a real sour day for GWB and JEB! As well as it should be! They will be so sorry! The Conservative Radio hosts will slam them for this!

I have to fervently disagree with that one. The WORST of the lot are not the ones who are killing Terri by forcibly starving her to death. The worst of the lot are the ones in hiding on the issue... the ones who have pontificated their belief in life.

I think there is too much bashing of Jeb and GW Bush on these threads, as if they were the ones, who had ordered Terri killed.

Jeb Bush signed and executive order in 2003, to reinsert Terri's feeding tube, and it was struck down by the courts, as unconstitutional. He can't go and do the same thing again.
