After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

words of Jeb Bush:
"My guess is there is very little left for the government to do."
His GUESS is???!!!
A woman is dying of thirst in a hospice surrounded by armed guards,
on the orders of a swamp judge who illegally ordered Florida's Department of Children and Families and the State Police to stand down, and who refuses to
hear the evidence that Terri wants to live, rejecting sworn affidavits testifying to this simply because they were filed three days late, AND GOVERNOR BUSH GUESSES THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO DO??????
GUESS AGAIN, MR. GOVERNOR!!!!!!
Have you even bothered to read the legal documents submitted to you that show without a doubt there is PLENTY you can do right now to save her life?
No, I didn't think so.
Your lack of leadership is nothing short of disgusting.

I'm all for backlash, Saundra, but there are always rotten members in any party. Leave it to the rotters and what good comes of it? How is that even a backlash? Maybe we should concentrate on toning up the party we've got rather than leaving it for another, especially when another is in its infancy and might just develop in a way we don't desire; maybe we should concentrate on ridding the party of RINOs instead of ridding it of us.

I'm having a hard time picturing Jim Morrison and Greer as housemates.

When it comes to Democrat or Republican, the issue of "courage" is the same. Some men have it. Some don't. Some Democrats have it, some don't. Some Republicans have it, some don't. That's what I take away from this whole travesty.

I've had it! I don't want to be a member of the Republican Party whose members include Jeb Bush and George Greer.

Amen to every word of it. TJ, Patrick Henry, Ben Franklin - the whole lot. They knew. Their words are more relevant and important to remember on this very day, than on any other day in my life.

The man does not have the jurisdiction to tie the hands of the Governor, or the DFS!
And he most certainly has over stepped his authority in saying from the bench that Terri must die!

I"m sitting out.. why defeat the Dems? as long as rogue judges are allowed by a Republican majority to rule the land, the party name means nothing... Dems just speed up the road to hell, but so far both parties have taken us there.

Sarcasm is born from the depths of my anger today. I hope you could see that, WSC?
Of course you make sense and Naziism was wrong. Our leaders are wrong to embrace (or allow to happen) some of it's central philosophies with respect to the situational ethics-based "Convenience and Inconvenience of Life", or as they would have said, "Life Unworthy of Life".

Lord, we lift Terri up to you right now. We thank you for her grit and determination and her courageous spirit. We ask, Lord, that you will feed her with food they can't see and give her water they know nothing about. Keep her organs functioning and healthy, and don't allow the doctors to try to hasten her death. If they try, let the attempt fail, Most High. We pray for Terri's protection, we pray for her health, and we pray you will send someone to intervene and save her now. In Jesus name.
To: PaRebel
".... but if there is even one bit, the Schindlers should file criminal charges against him, and that way prevent him from cremating the body..."
Welcome to Terri's issue --- you MUST be new. All accussations against Michael Schiavo go through ONLY Judge Greer or the local sheriff's department where MS and his girlfriend's mother work.
When the "good ol' boys" of the south wouldn't investigate crimes against blacks, the feds stepped in.

Just one slight correction: Where girlfriend's mother worked, past tense. She died recently.
To: ruoflaw
Georgia doesn't. Nor does Alabama. Florida is the only state in the 11th Circuit that does.
