They did no such thing. When push came to shove they retreated into their little shells of "sorry, I'm just not given the power to do anything more". Would that the stinking liberal judges were this craven, we might have a fighting chance then. But the liberals are bold and take all the risks necessary to advance their agenda, while our elected leaders shrink from the fight like mice.
