Demonstrators Mary Porta, kneeling, and others pray for Terri Schiavo, Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005, outside the hospice, where Terri resides, in Pinellas Park, Fla. Under increased security and with fading hopes, Terri Schiavo's parents asked supporters to return home to spend Easter Sunday with their families as the couple's severely brain-damaged daughter went a ninth day without food or water. There really aren't too many large buildings in that area, but it's posible.
Unlikely, but possible.
You got THAT right.
I bet she'd make Cheney blush ;0)
True, but we can certainly see those of Lisa McPherson, whose murder they are not prosecuting.
I, personally don't want to see Terri, I love her to much, and I've never met her!
I love that woman, and I love that photograph of her.
LOL!:)
you forget we would not have even gotten this far under a clinton administration.
We need to keep pushing and keep pushing in election after reflection. We need to keep winning. Every election we hear the BS whining of uberconservates who toss their votes away to some third party because the republic is not conservative enough. (or the wrong shoes)
It boils down to this. Even the founders knew society would need some work. The founders knew leadership would be changed over time. The founders knew that we as a society would have to engage in the fine art of compromise.
One thing that GWBush has done on the national level is get rid of the BS notion of "entiled" to run because dues were paid. (it is so and so's turn to run for office because they have put in x number of years) The goal is to put in more people that actually win. For now we may have to perservere a Specter or a Snow or even a McCain but they too shall pass from office over time.
We need to think long term. Look at the ABA model divorce code? Why did they make a far left model code which incorporates feminist and leftist ideals? Because they are working on a decades long schedule.
We have to keep fighting the good fight because the left will continue since they have little regard for conservative's ability to focus and perservere.
I bet there are more people who joined FR and then became actually politically active as a result. We now as Rep. Delay has said "she is one of us", well we lost one of us. That does not mean the good fight ends. We lick our wounds and keep fighting.
BRAVO.
Congratulations! I agree entirely, it is Terri's legacy that we continue her fight to save others who end up in this quagmire.
Maybe I've missed something, but I haven't seen a whole heck of a lot of that. At least from anyone else.
Good grief. Those of us with even a modicum of good sense might have to kick these lunatics out of the Party.
That's Zuel!
Touche. I agree. People can pray their hearts out in a room full of people without anyone but God and they knowing they are praying. It just bothers me to hear these people being referred to a kooks, though some may be just that. Others though may be new Christians and praying with ferverence and sincerity as hard as they can for Teri and not really concerned with, "Oh, look at me" at all. I prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt. But that's just me.
Maybe if you're lucky, she'll run for governor and replace him. I hope, if that happens, that you'll be living in Florida when it does - just for making that remark.
You and me both. Disgusting.
Exactly.
It's a wonder this religious kook hasn't found a reason to show up down there, yet.
"God Hates Fags" Rev. Fred Phelps Sr., head of Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) of Topeka, KS
President Hillary Rodham Clinton thanks you.
Splitting the GOP will ensure a Democrat resurgence.
Hopefully, this too shall pass and we can get on with the business of advancing our ideas and blocking the ideas of our opponents.
Well, gotta say though, it's not the worst thing thats been posted LOL...
