The point is that any tradition that contradicts the Bible is a false teaching. And there are many such traditions in organized religion. These traditions are man made and as such lack divine inspiration.

Tinfoil hat on...I think MS gave Greer some money a long time ago, and has the evidence to prove it...which is why Greer will not be moved on this issue. I cannot think of any other reason an innocent woman would be sentenced to death based on pure hearsay. The judge had to be in on it.
Where is the investigation????

The only thing I have seen about it was when Hannity asked Michael's lawyer about a charge that he had contributed money to Judge Greer. The lawyer responded that it was not unusual
for lawyers to contribute to judges' campaigns.
To my surprise, Hannity did not pursue the matter further.

I agree completely with you on this. No tradition that contradicts Scripture can be true.
Unfortunately, many people condemn traditions which are not found explicitly in Scripture, but are entirely constistent with Scripture.

The Catholics condemnation of the death penalty for convicted murders comes to mind. But now that Terri is comdemed to death for just being alive,,,Where are the Catholic Bishops in condemning this barbarity? the silence is deafening!
To: aspiring.hillbilly
The bishop of St. Petersburg, where Terri is being murdered, will not be heard from, even if he IS personally pro-life, because he is a notorious homosexual who paid out $100,000 to a diocesan employee, a triathlete whom he groped and massaged and pursued. "Isn't he an Adonis?" is one of the bishop's more famous exclamations to one of his priests. The bishop is morally neutralized, and will remain silent.
The Pope, of course, has to answer for the fact that, in a country that is sliding toward mass euthanasia, he has chosen to keep in place dozens of such neutralized bishops.

The pope isn't doing much answering for anything these days. If he had his wits about him, he would resign for the good of the church...........

Why has he so chosen? If they were sacked, are there no suitable candidates to fill their sees?

"Does anyone know where he works? What he does for a living?"
Jeez - give it up!
