Michael Schiavo Plans to Cremate Terri

Michael Schiavo has taken steps that will prevent investigators from examining Terri Schiavo's body for evidence of abuse after she dies – a suspicion her family has repeatedly raised as her death grows more imminent.

Schiavo's attorney George Felos told the Washington Post on Friday that Terri will be cremated and buried in a plot owned by Michael's family in Pennsylvania.

Terri's parents had filed a request with the court to block the cremation plans, saying it would violate the religious beliefs of their daughter, who was a practicing a Catholic.

But as with every other motion filed in the case on behalf of Bob and Mary Schindler, the Florida courts have rejected the request.

A 1991 bone scan performed on Terri Schiavo showed unexplained injuries to her vertebrae and legs.

Terri's brother, Bobby Schindler, told Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes" on Thursday that a doctor has testified that she might have been strangled before she was found unconscious in her home in February 1990.

rpavlock, I have gone back over your posts and have yet to see you support any of your claims with documented evidence.

I have seen that you constantly refer to DU.

Why such an obsession with DU, and voter fraud.

You make yourself sound like a poor loser from DU who came over here to get vengeance.

Hmmmm... who sounds like a DUmmie?

Who indeed?

Really?
So, it's hearsay when it's her family, but not hearsay when it's people 8 years after the fact who suddenly in contradiction to previous testimony 'remember' something rather conveniently?

What hearsay from her family.. What the heck are you babbeling about.

The cremation instructions call attention to the care taken of the cremated remains. They should be treated with the same respect we give to the body of the deceased. The remains are to be placed in a worthy vessel which then is carried and transported with the same respect and attention given to a casket carrying a body.

Their final disposition is equally important, say the instructions: "The cremated remains should be buried in a grave or entombed in a mausoleum or columbarium [a cemetery vault designed for urns containing ashes of the dead]. The practice of scattering cremated remains on the sea, from the air, or on the ground, or keeping cremated remains in the home of a relative or friend of the deceased are not the reverent disposition that the Church requires." The instructions also state that, if at all possible, the place of entombment should be marked with a plaque or stone memorializing the deceased.

I believe this is in reference to:

The new cremation regulation, dated March 21, 1997, was granted by the Holy See as an addition, or indult, to the Order of Christian Funerals.

Really?
And your proof of this is?
The law they passed, specifically for Terri, says this:
S 2228 Page 16 and 17, posted 8/28/2000
14 (9) "Life-prolonging procedure" means any medical

15 procedure, treatment, or intervention, including artificially

16 provided sustenance and hydration, which sustains, restores,

17 or supplants a spontaneous vital function.

snip

4 (11) "Persistent vegetative state" means a permanent

5 and irreversible condition of unconsciousness in which there

6 is:

7 (a) The absence of voluntary action or cognitive

8 behavior of any kind.

9 (b) An inability to communicate or interact

10 purposefully with the environment.

Lines 15 through 17 can ALSO be used against peopel who use a pacemaker, it supplants a vital involuntary function.

because the evidence showed that she could no longer eat through the mouth. Here lies the problem. There are those who agree with this finding and those who dont.

THen why a court order stating we cannot find out the truth?

The point is he was never a respiratory therapist hence the clumsily broken bones in her neck. The report from Humana Hospital notes Terri's stiff neck upon her arrival in the emergency room.

The paramedics that responded for Terri were the first to call the police, as they suspected that she was beaten.
Fact.

More wives will be Schaivoed now. Just choke them half to death, then put them in a nursing home for a few years.

I mean, why go to all the trouble of buying a boat and taking your wife's corpse out to sea, like Scott Peterson did, then getting convicted and going to San Quentin, when it can all be done nice and legal-like?

Here is the evidence. Why were papers not filed by MS for Terri's medical plans in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005- which is required of him by law?

He should be held in contempt of court just for just that. Why did Greer look the other way all that time?

Why did Greer not appoint other court representation for Terri after the first one resigned?( you know the one who said they only person with a death wish for Terri was Michael and the he could not be trusted with that since he would benefit from her death.)

That shows bias, on the part of the court- right there. Those are a tiny bit of the facts.

And nothing Mickey the Dope can do will cremate that evidence.

There is a papertail- even tho the death crew tried to avoid one.

Exactly.
Ignore them, perhaps they'll go away.
Don't take their "Du'er" slam on you personally, they have an obsession with it.

This is not the case here. If I were in a wheelchair or bed ridden because of some accident or something, but my thought processes were normal, then I think I can live with that. On the otherhand if I was in a state like Terri, let me go to my lord.

Uh reply #99 of this thread is not yours and states that people should when making a living will should deem a Guardian who is completely trustworty and prcatices fidelity, unlike michael schiavo.

did he think that he might get access to more and better drugs to finish her off and collect on his life insurance?

I believe because of the documents that I've read that he needs to dispose of evidence, Terri herself.

Did your husband have a mistress and father two children with her? No.

But if in the Schivao's place, I would be happy if hubby had a life.

I am not SELFISH....I would NOT be able to love and care for him in Terri's state.

I would be HAPPY for my hubby to have a life. While he's still young!

WTH, is that so difficult to understand???
