Lessons Learned From Schiavo (add your own too--and don't lose FAITH!!!)

WASHINGTON — State lawmakers outside of Florida have been watching the case of Terry Schiavo (search) unfold day after day, and, in many cases, they say it will likely spur increased focus on similar life-or-death decisions.

But whether states will be inspired to pass new laws to avoid the seemingly unending court drama surrounding the Schiavo case is another matter entirely.

"I think we need to look at what we already have on the books," said Democratic state Sen. Donnie Trotter of Illinois, a long-time advocate for public health issues. "The (Schiavo) case itself, I truly believed, should have been determined by the courts."

New York State Sen. Michael Balboni, a Republican, said many of his colleagues had a negative reaction to the U.S. Congress passing a bill that allowed the federal courts to step in on the Schiavo case this week.

The House passed another bill Wednesday night that would have made the federal court an option for any case like Schiavo's. It is not clear when or if the Senate will take up a similar legislation.

There's much I'm thankful for this Easter Season. I've told my family that I will help them should they be temporarily disabled (like Terri). I think that activist judges are killing their own liberals faster than they are killing Conservatives.

How long has it taken liberals to kill just this one Catholic wife? Over a decade? Euthanasia is now normal for liberals. Conservatives have scrambled to protect their own (and if you haven't GET-R-DONE).

The presidential elections of both 2000 and 2004 gave proof that liberals have already aborted their constituents to numbers too small to be nationally/globally effective. Now, with euthanasia, they'll wipe out the rest.

Don't give in to passions for violent revenge. That will only unload more retaliatory violence and give liberal gangsters a sense of legitimacy for their violence. Evil took one (Terri Schiavo), so prevent any other loses and Praise the Heavenly Father for continuing Conservative Family Values.

------

And as I reflect on those ferociously blocking aliens (legal and illegal), liberals will continue to undo their democratic strength.

Lessons learned...

But will the federal and state judiciary allow us to learn a lesson? Is that constitutional? Remember, we are a nation of judges,-er I mean laws-, not men.

May the Lord remind the Bush brothers of their craven and abject cowardice. May they ever see the face of Terri Schiavo before them, asking for a drink of water.

A breath of fresh air, at least in some parts. I hope that most see the need to redouble their efforts rather than give in to despair and abandonment.

Happy Easter.

Oh here you are again I see with your little vendetta against the Bushs'. Don't you ever say anything other than this is the fault of the Bush brothers? Who do you suggest we vote for in the next election?

I have already learned to absorb this injustice. The Bush brothers will be impeached for saving Terri. This is a trap set for them. I think they can (and ought) to save Terri. Oregon has already been euthanizing people. This murder of Terri is very calculated. It works against liberals.

Note who wanted President Bush to intervene: was it Terri's mom and dad?

NO, it was Michael.

Perhaps Terri's mom and dad have reason to not call on the Presidential powers. This will definitely turn out very very badly for liberals.

"Who do you suggest we vote for in the next election?"

Perhaps it's better to vote for no one at all.

When I called Gov Bush's office earlier this week a young man told me they were doing everything they could legally do. At that time, I told him Gov Bush would have to make a choice between his job (fear of impeachment, I guess) and the life the Terri.

When the young many said (again, leaving out the word 'legal) they were doing everything they could, I told him if Terri dies then they didn't do everything.

They haven't done everything.

Easter Comes.

Well sure, that's an option. If I recall correctly that is the option many took and it gave us 8 years of Clinton, that and voting 3rd party.

During the Clinton years, the Islamists gained unprecidented power and grew into what we are fighting today. It gave us children who think a BJ is not sex. It gave us higher taxes and lower morals.

No, I don't think that's a good option.

A republican might be nice, if you can find one.

It's ironic, isn't it?

More African-American babies in NY aborted than born alive--yet where is the outrage on the Left?

Crickets.

Did YOU storm the death hospice to save Terri? Or surround your own local courthouse or organize a huge rally? Don't blame the Bushes for your own feeling of impotence. Brother we all feel impotent. But let us not become divided as well. We will take this on, TOGETHER.

I learned that the Bush brothers share the same wimp gene as their father.

I also learned that most people (including a lot of people here) have either forgotten how the Constitution works or never bothered to learn.

And lastly, I am profoundly disappointed that people all over the US (again including here), casually throw around concepts like 'rule of law' and 'legal' and 'moral' and 'state's rights' without understanding what they really mean, and without making a distinction between the rule of law and the rule of men.

http://blackgenocide.org/sanger.html

Founder of Planned Parenthood was racsist.

Here's an excerpt:

(This article first appeared in the January 20, 1992 edition of Citizen magazine)

How Planned Parenthood Duped America

At a March 1925 international birth control gathering in New York City, a speaker warned of the menace posed by the "black" and "yellow" peril. The man was not a Nazi or Klansman; he was Dr. S. Adolphus Knopf, a member of Margaret Sanger's American Birth Control League (ABCL), which along with other groups eventually became known as Planned Parenthood.

Sanger's other colleagues included avowed and sophisticated racists. One, Lothrop Stoddard, was a Harvard graduate and the author of The Rising Tide of Color against White Supremacy. Stoddard was something of a Nazi enthusiast who described the eugenic practices of the Third Reich as "scientific" and "humanitarian." And Dr. Harry Laughlin, another Sanger associate and board member for her group, spoke of purifying America's human "breeding stock" and purging America's "bad strains." These "strains" included the "shiftless, ignorant, and worthless class of antisocial whites of the South."

Not to be outdone by her followers, Margaret Sanger spoke of sterilizing those she designated as "unfit," a plan she said would be the "salvation of American civilization.: And she also spike of those who were "irresponsible and reckless," among whom she included those " whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers." She further contended that "there is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped." That many Americans of African origin constituted a segment of Sanger considered "unfit" cannot be easily refuted.

Did YOU storm the death hospice to save Terri?

I had the hope, largely naive I realize, that a Republican congress, a Republican president, and a supreme court that was 7/9ths appointed by Republicans might actually use their constitutional powers to protect "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" for Terri.

I was quite mistaken, wasn't I?

To not eat our own (Jeb and W), simply becuase they wont start a civil war, despite doing everything else they could to save Terri (and Jeb did on a few occasions).

Have any of you stopped to consider the fact that if both sides of the family (Schindlers and Schiavos) agreed on this course of action this would have never made the news? Do any of you realize that things like this happen every single day?

I had the experience of being there with my family when we pulled the plug on my grandmother who was in the exact same state as Terri. My grandmother stopped breathing from a diabetic coma for 5 min and it destroyed her brain. We had 12 separate diagnosis from 12 different neurologist conclude that she was in a persistent vegatative state with no cognative ability.

Are you going to call me a murderer? You have no idea what it's like.
