It has nothing to do with Jeb's not wanting to, nor having the courage to save Terri. It has to do with his having many legal advisors going through Florida law to find any loophole (that won't be filled with another Greer decision) that can help him take custody of her, and the fact of the matter that there is none......at least none that they have found yet.
It's tragic, but it's the law that must be changed. It's the judicial dominance that must be stopped. Attacking the Bush's will do nothing but make the leftists happy.........and I'm sure they're thrilled with some freepers right now........
to find any loophole
You miss the point. Jeb could find some threadbare excuse; he could cliam that there are rumors of abuse at the hospice, patients being mistreated--it would be a lie, perhaps, but it would be a foot in the door that would allow a massive police action on the part of Florida law enforcement and/or the Fl National guard. All Jeb needs is a pretext, however transparent. Judge Greer will scream bloody murder, but so what. A judge, like the pope, has no divisions. When it comes to saving a life, might DOES make right.
