I wasn't suggesting Congress should indict, they can only investigate.

How will they do that, when the subject of their investigation has demonstrated his power to QUASH their subpoenas?

They can subpoena him and send the U.S. Marshalls to get him.

U.S. Marshalls will find Judge Greer, I assure you.

If Congress doesn't have the guts to do it, we need to get a new Congress.

...How will they do that, when the subject of their investigation has demonstrated his power to QUASH their subpoenas?...

Yes. That was unbelievable, as was his sealing the records from DCF so that they could not investigate, and then furthermore telling them they had no jurisdiction to remove Terri from Camp Starve to Death.

And the County Sheriff's Department and the local police were ordered by Greer not to stand down and to resist. Local police made the remark that if Jeb sent the crew in they would not let them remove Terri UNLESS Judge Greer was there with them.

So, what to do.

Grant the local police their wish. Bring Judge Greer with them. In handcuffs, of course.

Summon superior forces. No way these local hicks will stand up against the Florida National Guard. The Sheriff's department was quoted as joking about whether they had enough officers to handle the National Guard (quoted in a paper, who knows if it's true) but just in case it is, bring in enough men and firepower to erase any silly notion about that.

Worry about the details later. If the political fallout from this would be any worse then it is already going to be, I'd be shocked.

I don't believe those polls saying the majority of people think the government should not interfere on this one. But even if they are accurate, the people will change their tune when they become fully aware of what has transpired. Namely, the attempted (so far) murder of a defenseless woman who has committed no crime. A murder for the convenience of Michael Shiavo, orchestrated by a sick attorney and a bumbling, hateful, incompetent and probably corrupt Judge.

When a religious cult leader defied the law for owning certain weapons, we burnt his compound to the ground with everyone still in it, including women and children. Clinton remained President. Reno remained AG.

How could trying to save an innocent woman from being murdered by dehydration and starvation who is completely defenseless be any worse then that?
